I'd recommend just walking about in Stockholm for a day or so. There's a lot of small stores and interesting stuff all around the city and it's pretty beautiful in the summer.

I don't live in Stockholm myself. I've only been there on shorter visits, but I always enjoy just walking about looking at stuff. Unlike other Swedish cities a lot of historical buildings are still standing in Stockholm, there's plenty of smaller museums and such, like the observatory. I wouldn't recommend going into IT related stores as the prices here are some of the worst in Europe.
