Hi.

letterboxd.com/Lozjudai/

hey thanks!

letterboxd.com/Redwell/

28 days later should atleast have half a star more.

you fucked up. McCabe restoration is out soon.

Maybe you'll finally be able to hear what the hell they're saying.

Juho my man, how do i get into Kurosawa?

If this is not a joke you both can start preparing for your permanent ban. Go buy some alcohol you know, make a farewell party...

Watch Seven Samurai and Rashomon. After that if you want more samurai shit go to Yojimbo or Ran. If you want noir then watch The Bad Sleep Well or High and Low. For drama Ikiru. After that do what you want though IMO watch every Mifune collaboration before going to other stuff

oh but it's a joke

The camera is ridiculously irritating. I have always found mixing digital and film to be detrimental. Only occasionally does it helps a film (funnily enough, Boyle's work on Steve Jobs actually managed to use the contrast well).

The horror elements are effective enough, and it's post-apocalyptic environment was cool, but god, that camera. 3/5 is basically a "fairly good" to me.

The cinema near me was showing it, and I didn't want to miss it. It's not too difficult to understand what they're saying anyway. When's the McCabe restoration come out?

Kurosawa sucks dick. Watch Yasujirō Ozu, Hideo Gosha. Takashi Miike, or Hiroshi Teshigahara instead.

user
Watch all of these filmmakers. But don't be the monumental faggot this poster is being.

thanks for the rec anons

>The Accountant
Probably will see that. I expect it to disappoint though.

>Arrival
Looks interesting, also Amy Adams.

>Bad Santa 2
Not at all.

>Don't Breathe
Heard it was good, probably will see it.

>Dunkirk
Nolan still can't control his extras.

>Fantastic Beats
Fuck no.

>The Handmaiden
Excellent link.

>Hell or High Water
Definite Yes.

>In The Valley of Violence
Fuck yes. A definite yes. I like Hawke even though he gets involved in some mediocre films.

>Justice League: Part One
"muh srs DCEU"
Even if this is shit, I will still give it a watch, but probably when it hits cheap second-run theaters.

>Kong: Skull Island
Probably, I wasn't a fan of the 2005 remake with Kong, but it seems okay.

>The Lego Batman Movie
Yes. Looks better than Justice League.

>War on Everyone
No.

>xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
Still haven't seen the other films, so no.

Arrival and Dunkirk is all i'm really excited for. I'll give Kong, Fantastic Beasts, Justice League a watch aswell.

post profile

The camera is only irritating for the first part of the movie, then it gets better.

> It's a Tarkovsky chilling in a tree while interrupting his interviewer to go on a 10 minute rant about the beauty of horses after he sees one in the distance episode.

Love that crazy ruskie
