find anything?

...

bet its dark in there eh

A few dynamite box pieces. a lighter from the late 1800's, and a few random things.

Did the tommyknockers rape you?

lighter

not yet

only when we cut the head lamps

equipment list?
skill set?

I've thought about becoming an urban spelunker myself. I don't mind dying at a relatively young age in the name of exploring the mistakes of our ancestors too.

mistakes of the past? i explore the history of our country

Equipment-
Climbers helmet
Camel pack
head lamp
extra batteries
walking stick
3 extra flash lights
x3 batteries for everything
Spot emergency beacon

Good list. You don't carry fire as an alternative or any self extrication equipment?

...

Ever see any crazy shit in there?

no, fire uses oxygen, and so do I. better I breath than a fire

why were you abandoned?

fair. I always carry fire in case I end up somewhere that I can't travel to my entry point until daylight. in case things get crazy.

bats, pack rats. old equipment. nothing special

Have you ever been seriously lost? If so, for how long?

I'm reporting you to the state of Arizona for breaking law ars 27-318d.

Mr. Martin is going to be very upset.

Have you ever dealt with hazardous gas build up during your exploration? I know some people use portable detectors to pick up on that stuff.

What geographic area? What are the general ages of the mines? How many skinwalkers?

nice question

skinwalkers dont use mines, they use natural caves or burrows

cant afford one, but all mines I go to are hard rock mines its not too much of a worry.

So in that case I suppose someone wandering through a dark, dangerous mine that's been abandoned for a century would have nothing at all to worry about, right friend?

Right on! What's the most dangerous experience you've had while exploring?

Ever find any living people or skeletons?

I was wondering about air quality as well. Seems to be one of the bigger hazards.

not seriously, have been a little turned around in the really big mines, but no big deal

Great thread. Nice to see some quality oc for a change.

It's not exactly the same, but I was watching some videos about a guy that bought a decommissioned, flooded missile silo and was renovating it. Ran into carbon monoxide build up in one of the sections and had to get out pretty quick.

I know the one you're talking about. Was interesting watching the whole process. Wish I could remember the title.

Don't worry, user. I gotcha'.

all over North and south western states

>very large mine

What got you into exploring mines?
Ever check out some caves?

I hope this happens to you bye

That's the one, ty bro

Sure thing! Pretty interesting stuff.

Filthy dumb phoneposter scum. It's always phoneposting retards who believe in this skinwalker/magic monster crap.

The biggest concerns are Vertical shafts, open stopes, Widow makers (large loose rock above your head.

ever encounter anything inexplicable? voice of someone who isn't in your party? or a light or something that had no explanation?

Dubs decides what I name my new green cheek conure

>Picture not my actual bird, just for reference

any good locations in Wyoming you know of perchance? or links to location resources?

How far into mines do you usually go? Distance/depth/time?

I second this. I live in East Tennessee and there are coal mines everywhere so there have to be a couple abandoned ones.

Ever entered an abandoned gold mine? How feasible is it to continue mining without getting crushed to death?

Did you take these pics? They're pretty good

Yes mining claims still exist but real money is made in pit mining

Anything spooky happen to you whilst in a cave?

Another bump for good measure.

what are the odds of running into cave people that will chop your dick off?

Is this Virginia city nv?

...

No some is in very southern Nevada, and some in North Easter Nevada

y u do dis

No, Mother Nature created caves, and she doesn't care if you live or die. man created mines as a purpose built operation

Do what?
