You're shit at describing this album, which is a shame because it's a really great album and people might not otherwise give it a shot since you're misleading them.

It's not pop. Maybe dream pop. More experimental rock/shoegaze than anything with elements of post-rock. Lots of texture and atmosphere with soft vocals that also get loud and earnest. Give it a try.
