Letterboxd General /lbg/
is OJ worth watching? It's 5th place on letterboxd's highest rated right now.
It's a solid 7/10, nowhere near the 10/10 a lot of people claim. Funnily enough, there's a strong liberal bias in those reviews though, so take that as you will.
>tfw stuck in public trackers.
can i have invite to any decent arthouse tracker
recs for right wing non-american filmmakers?
I can't think of one
why don't they upload to public trackers anyway?
I have to settle for 700mb dvdrips from 2005
Which HD encode of Idi i Smotri should I get off of PTP?

Not updated butAutumn Sonata might be in my top 5 Bergman films, really good
Yojyu Matsubayashi
Abe Yutaka
>Watching Bergman this close together
>acknowledged that those jokes are stale
So that's why all the ideological critics are loving this movie
What did you think about Caligula?
Not a masterpiece, but it was definitely worth a look. I'm not mad that I was recommended to watch it (here btw). It stuck in my head. But I think it does not have high rewatch potential, don't think I will ever watch it 2nd time.
The 15.4 GiB one

That's scarily accurate, please stop stalking me
>All my music is in FLAC and all of my pictures are RAW files
The size difference is AVC at low compression versus x265 at higher compression. If an encode is done right, chances are slim you will notice a difference. A 3GB x264 720p encode for a 20GB remux would be fine. The worst you may see is blocking in dark scenes. I typically look for a 5-10gb rip from a group I trust.
*raises hand*
I haven't gone out regularly since 2009. What's your story?
Letterboxd appreciation thread.
I am just so thankful that Letterboxd lets me choose my own gender pronoun! I don't think I could possibly rate movies without. It's so liberating and empowering to people like me. It's not like that other website that doesn't address you with your proper pronoun. IMDb is a CIS patriarchal calamity and should be closed down for hate crime again people with different pronouns.
Let's use this thread to tell the developers that we, non-white straight people, that we truly appreciate the work they're doing and we'll continue to use their website forever.
wow you're late
How do I get a PTP invite?
Plebbit
Sent :^)
i'll give you one
Rich parents in third world country and a low self esteem
I go out probably once in every two months, and I didn't do college
Been 4 years like that already
I onky watch films and read
It's a miracle I'm not fat

They're closed. I know people with invites and they can't even use them right now.
If you would I would love that.

Regretting watching those two Brett Piper films on laptop, didn't enjoy as much as I probably would have done, they seem like good fun
what a fella!
Saw It's Such a Beautiful Day today. There's something supremely annoying about consistent narrations commenting on what is happening. I'm visually seeing what is happening and hearing about it on top is just distracting. Felt the same way about Mary and Max.
Most people are unbothered by that
Most people supported the Gulf war.
Nice jump. From mild autism to geopolitical/economical maneuvers. Pretty tight.

What isn't autistic about enjoying
>"Mary pet her dog."
>see Mary pet the dog
>"John sipped his coffee."
>sips coffee
And so on for 65 minutes?

Outside of clear films like The Big Lebowski and IV, what are some films influenced by Thomas Pynchon?
Zero Dark 30 but unintentionally I guess.
What are some good films about loneliness?
My life
The asking was for good.
This one you rec has shitty direction, nonsensical script and a hack ugly actor
LOL u r so funny
does that pleb fuck alessandro still post in these pleb pandering threads
What a gay reply to that
It's worse, it's embryo pandering actually. But still it can sometimes successfully bully people into btfoness, as was the case with Fagsandro

who posted the link to that breaking the waves bluray because this is amazingly bad i don't know what the fuck is going on...
>1080 rip is out
no fucking way!!! i've had the full dvd sitting here for months now but never saw it. god has blessed me. this is the karma paying me back from that time when i revisited evangelion after a decade and the blurays were ripped the day i finished it on dvd
BTW was shot on video I think. It's supposed to look weird like that
It probably has got something to do with ideas presented in dogme 95 movement.
I guess.
Trier is shit
That's because Healey is a sheltered, self-obsessed narcissist that actually unironically believes he is making art which is why he is willing to go that extra mile to get shit made.
>muh miniseries
thats what i thought but the images here are far better blu-ray.com
and also holy fucking shit punch drunk love is finally coming out in bluray!! held out years without watching it because there was no hd release. too bad an user spoiled me the end briefly on a post here in Sup Forums some time ago...

>you can now add youtube videos to your profile
Someone calm Ariel with a dick in her mouth, let that bitch suck it numb in no time!
>Ariel
>her
lol
these count to me, youtube is just a platform.
>letterboxd.com
>"people"
>youtube is just a platform
Sure. But when you start up a game, see a cinematic you don't think: ''hmm, this counts as a movie, let's put it on letterboxd''
Ariel can only be The Little Mermaid's character and Ariel Pink, both are feminine so it's a pussy ass name!
I say tell that bitch to mail me her address so that I can send her a good "numby" one, I mean a penis so hot and heavy that she 1. cannot let it out of her mouth (because the size is metal and she can't lift it up with her tiny fragile arms) even if she waned to, which 2. she does, because as I said I would let that penis bake in the oven at 100 degrees Hotcium so bitch be sucking and bleeding at the same time :P
Are they from the game though? If they were released as standalone shorts and aren't included in the game they're like just any other short. If they're included in the game, but were later released standalone I have my doubts, but it isn't that far-fetched to me (same way some justify Twin Peaks pilot as a separate release because of the VHS release with only that episode).

Wow you like kill bill, fight club and movies with neon in it, 70% of people like the same type of films.
alright bro don't be a dick about it
i'm pretty sure i've seen films you haven't even heard of
These are 'humorous' posts, I'm sure. You're roleplaying as the creature
Like what? Guy Debord? Maurice LemaƮtre? Etienne O'Leary?
I'm just curious of what these super obscure films you're talking about could be.
It's not 2006 anymore GRAMPS, I doubt the majority of high school kids have seen Fight Club.
okay so maybe not super obscure but i've watched a lot of older films so don't just label me as a pleb ok
