tim heidecker more like tim lilpecker lmoa
either this or Radio Amor, yes
Yes, well maybe. Harmony in Ultraviolet comes close
t. someone who has never listened to any actually good ambient drone
if P4k liked it, it isn't good. that's a fact
no because this exists
desu this is probably Tim Hecker's most outward album; Most of his other albums are pretty lo-fi and muffled.
Actually good Ambient/Drone albums
Gavin Bryars - The Sinking of the Titanic
Brian Eno - Discrete Music
John Luther Adams - In the White Silence
Stephan Mathieu - In a Static Place
>Radio Amor
Great taste user, an underappreciated Hecker. I didn't think any kind of music could have a more "out at sea" feeling than sea shanties until I heard Radio Amor, the concept is absolutely beautifully executed.
Don't leave us dry then, post something better.
FUCKING BRING BACK SAM'S SHOW YOU FUCKING NIGGER JEW
See
hell no
then what is
Sam Hyde is a fucking kike
kek
yes radio amor good shit. I also liked haunt me but that doesn't seem to get as much love
also any love for stars of the lid? getting into their catalog but can't say I'm too impressed
no because this exists
This is the best ambient album of all time.
...
I still think tired sounds is their best album, there is not a single impurity on it.
you are like a little baby
watch this
Everyone know this is his best
brilliant sound design, but i would hardly consider it "drone" (and its only ambient in a very 21st century way, honestly we need to come up with a new name because "ambient" music nowadays is hardly ignoreable after the major influences of noise and sound art have had on it).
im gonna give it to SotL's Tired Sounds
Haunt Me is fucking brilliant.
I also really liked Love Streams, mainly because he took a very different sonic route than he has for past releases. Not sure if that album gets any love or hate. Haven't read any reviews about it.
