Stuff is on last.fm and RYM. Also, got interviewed on a Brazilian shoegaze blog, we talk about the music, process, and he posted a photo from another band I was in where I shredded my hand up while playing guitar and bled all over it...so yeah, if you're into that:
theblogthatcelebratesitself.blogspot.com
Also, working on new material and I'll have a new music video out for one of my songs here soon. Finished it tonight.
Gettin some light Twin Peaks vibes off of this. Not the biggest fan of the lyrics, but I like the low end a good bit and incorporating cello in your music. You set up the dreaminess well.
Any reason you made it nearly 4 and a half minutes btw? Not trying to hate, it just felt like 2 of the minutes were tacked on, you only really had the verse and the chorus and the chord progressions weren't too different for either.
I'll return any feedback I get tomorrow morning
I've told you a few times that I love armadillo and want an all acoustic album. The sample dialogue you do on the intro to the next song is pretty interesting. I guess I've always just commented on armadillo specifically because it is your best songwriting imo. The other songs don't have memorable melodies. I like the style of all of your songs but style can only take you so far. I would never sit around my house and start singing "nobody home" to myself the same way I would with armadillo.
As far as the length of my song. I wanted it to be a progression where the things the person was not being thankful for got more and more essential and severe. It starts with taking clothes for granted and ends with being grateful to be alive. I guess it the song just went as long as the music I wrote. I can't say that I feel like its too long because I love the song. But thanks for the feedback.
Its thrash/groove/sludge/heavy metal

Wanted to make a song about modern problems like nihilism, censorship and binge drinking.
The song has been doing very well. Would love some feed back, I produced and recorded the vocals myself, since I'm poor. haha. But I'm rich with happiness of how this came out.

This is really great, especially Echo and Days of Gold. This might be a bit of nitpicky personal thing, but after seeing the cover I expected it to sound a lot warmer, the metallic sounds of the first two songs felt a bit jarring to me.

Man, I've actually heard quite a few people say they'd like if I did an all acoustic album, but I just feel like it's too limiting. I'm not nearly creative enough as an acoustic guitarist for that. New stuff I'm working on is very arguably heavier but has way more acoustic sections, so there's that.
Thanks mane, you'd be surprised how few effects I use probably. Listened to both YT tracks, I'm not a huge acid rock/lowkey garage fan but the chorus of Gotta Make You Mine with shouting over top was pretty cool.
PS, if any of you are interested, just put out a new music vid for one of my songs.

Thoughts on this? I'm gonna put it on my SoundCloud after the mix is done. Looking mostly for whether people can follow the songwriting and what y'all think of the three singers coming together at 2:17 to the end
Not bad at all. The mix does need tweaking with the layered vocals - things get a bit muddy at times.

guess i decided to be that guy and give a critique on everyone's songs since most fags here post and don't listen to other peoples songs.
uh so judging by this music, when do you want to go on that medieval quest of yours?
this rock vibe is really nostalgic, brings me back to the days where i played tony hawk for hours. I really like this, i look forward to more tracks man
structurally, this song is pretty good, however this genre of music doesn't suit my cup of tea.
as memey as this is, i fuck with the flow heavy, it has that lonely island vibe
if i took a shit load of noz, this is what i would listen to
I don't know how i feel about this, this type of music frightens me, cause you can't get the proper vibe, there just so much going on
textbook garage band lmao
taking a nice drive near the beach as the sunset goes down, i love how calm this song is. I love you user
professional as fuck song, if i was to go into a normie ass store, i feel like they would play your song. god bless your talent

Thanks man, we need more people like you in these threads! (I can't be arsed to do it)
i like the idea, but it sounds like you are a bit confused as to what direction you want to push this towards, so the thing sounds a bit disjointed
pretty solid bro track. the drop is a bit too bass heavy (murky) 4 my taste and the vocals are too messy
not a fan of the style heavy production, which is just a disguise for the lack of musicship
Fuck, I feel like if you made a serious song that people can relate to, you would get a bigger crowd, you have the voice and talent to do so
well, its truly is experimental rock, i can't really say much about this, not my genre i can relate to
the progression on this is so god damn amazing, the atmosphere of all the background sounds truly bring to life the techno. dw user i gotchu
ive always wanted drums, im prob gonna get them in the future, but your tracks is probably what im going to be doing, and when i just recording shit, id usually do what you do except i wouldn't post it lmao
holy fuck dude, i love this, reminds me of when i would smoke weed with my friends and we'd chill out to music like this. The world needs music like this and this is a prime example of indie music.
first artist that made me listen to 2 of their tracks rather than one, driven mostly due to curiosity. I like the transitions and how smooth they are. Can't really give a proper genre of what type of music this is. Cool stuff tho
aye, i fuck with this heavy, i envy your flow and rhymes. you got the voice for this dude. get that shit. first track that i listened to and analyzed. i wish it was longer
that riff at 1:41 is so orgasmic. i love to see this in person, it would give me chills down my spine
if i was at a campfire surrounded by the people i loved the most, this is what i would play, or better yet, i would have you play this, and we would reminisce together. This song is so good it could make me cry
Sup Forums is a song
everything about this song is right, the drums, and the synths and the piano are all synchronizing and are in harmony with each other. Its pleasurable to the ears :)
It started off great with the wavy synth and what sounds like live drums but it doesn't really progress in an exciting manor.
Everyone is rightfully praising this, some awesome stuff going on here. You refine this sound a little more and you'd be the next up and coming experimental indie artist.
This me. I forgot to describe it. It's basically idm/triphop, Iglooghost worship.
i'm still here if anyone wants critique
2 dense 4 me; i also am not convinced that you know what you are doing in this song
p nice, but a bit timid
desu you sound like most every other rapper, but even they have better delivery (Lil Uzi Vert)
i think you should put more emotion into it if you want to continue in this direction
checked lmao
even though the acoustic guitar and the soft voice are the two key elements in this genre, if you don't have a general idea or it doesn't necessarily fit, it can easily be fucked, probs to making a song that causes nostalgia. aye, im groovin to this dude, loving this genre, makes you move, and never wanna stop. Good shit
i can hear the scales going up and down, which is good cause it syncs however i dont know how i feel about this, something is out of touch, and i'm not that musically educated to give you an answer.
fuck i feel like this would kill my fucking subs in my car, i was kinda scared for the drop. I know thats your intention so good shit lmao def saving this one for when im fucking gone
it fits, everything about this song works, and i love it, however i dont think it would be considered lofi, not sure what it would be.
now this is lofi, A1 quality lofi, they say its not hard to make lofi but i mean, it takes time, lots of it, and i condone you for that. Thanks for the contribution
find someone to rap over this shit and this shit will be amazing. Fuck ill do it if i have to, but i dont think i could listen to 808 and instrumentals all day, add a lil bit of vocals if you have to
checked, everyone has their own reasons to make music but with style i feel like you do it solely for yourself and not for others. i dont wanna say all bands in this genre do it for this reason but in any case it sounds good because its so free and unrestricted. just a couple of dudes jammin out and recording
has that rap beat in there, then it suddenly turns into lofi, than transcends to rap again, i dont know whether to relax or get turnt. regardless love the tempo transitions. hard to do at least for me
checked, if i was to go on a normie youtube tutorial, this would be the music that would be playing, A1 elevator and background music.
hey there. i make rap music because im passionate about writing.
soundcloud.com
will be leaving feedback on SC. much love : )
(just recorded this, 2 takes and no editing.. tell me what ya think)
so many genres of old style music, i dig really the array of music you produce.
this scares me, however if you can get past how you feel about it and just listen to it, its pretty coordinated. good shit
makes me seek revenge on someone who digs me dirty
this reminds of that song from chicken little, also the wub wubs made me laugh lmao, i probably shouldnt cause you were going hard on the rap and you prob took this super seriously
your voice makes this track 10x better, i dont think anyone could sing this better than you and that means alot
kinda like my music, you don't know where its going, you only know when its ending, making music solely to how far you can take yourself. i feel you user
lots of head banging is taking place in this song, prime rock
i was going to use the same samples, great minds think alike eh? good shit though, couldn't have made it any better
if i look out my window with a cold beverage and make food and gaze, i would put on my headphones and listen to your tracks, good shit
what synths are you using, they're impact this song positively and its so loud, its hard to tell sounds apart. but im mean, in this genre, it doesnt matter if you can tell shit apart right?
