That sucks pretty bad. I hope you feel better both physically and mentally better soon! Err, 6 months isn't really soon but still I hope you feel better! I don't know much about mental health so I can't offer much advice there. Feeling bad (to put it simply, I guess) isn't good for extended periods of time.
As for the disease, I wont' ask you about it. That's rough. But you're one of the toughest people I know, so I know if anyone can deal with it, it's you. Good luck.
