I've been throwing up some classic Girls' Generation videos on Youtube from the Complete Video Collection Bluray. The official ones were upped in 720p, which is like 540p after Youtube gets done bitstarving them. (Into The New World wasn't even 720, it was 480)
Gee was cropped down to 16:9 and wasn't even inverse telecined for the official upload.
Some of these are upscaled SD, but they do look nicer without the bitstarvation.
