Probably, atleast with duels between knights. The knights and nobles were the only ones with nice armor and usually were captured/surrendered in order for ransom. IIRC, most deaths occurred from campaigning /marching/disease and retreats, when survivors were run down.

Yeah, the middle and end of the hundred years war basically marks the end of medieval combat as has been romanticized. Knights weren't really useful anymore, even mounted cavalry was waning heavily due to pikemen and archers, and then the introduction of primitive firearms started to morph combat.
It was the magical version of STOP FIGHT
