Whether or not autotune can be used tastefully, I can't stand the sonic aesthetic of autotune. It sounds like fucking shit and I've yet to find a single exception where it sounds good. Then again that's only my opinion and I'm fine with other people enjoying it, but whenever I hear it I'd rather castrate myself with a rusty spoon
