oh fuck yeah

blackjack and craps are my go to games, i dabble in roulette sometimes if I've got a couple chips to fuck with.

>strategy
most of the "good" strategies are well documented user, it's just math

I pretty well stick to roulette here. Im trying to learn craps, actually im teaching myself right now, figured. Use to like blackjack but ive drifted away from it, never could go on big runs.

Maybe this is a good thread to ask: Horse betting. Has anyone tried it? Now, I don't mean betting on a horse hoping it'll win #1. I mean show betting only here. How reliable is it?

Also, what about virtual horses? That game is literally just an RNG running, so could show betting it on the #1 (lowest odds) horse mean you'd win practically every time? Doesn't matter if I win 5 and lose 1, as long as I made 20% I break even. More than 20% for a show (very typical it seems), and it's a profit.

>I pretty well stick to roulette here.
What're your numbers? I typically stick to the outside bets, and let any wins press for a couple of spins

>Im trying to learn craps
Craps is so much fun, the best bets are pass or don't pass, with odds. There's a Wizard of Odds series on Youtube about craps (five parts) that's excellent, from an explanation standpoint. The "assistant" is hot too.

I love betting horses but i dont try to follow any model. I bet the Preakness today and lost because of that big upset. Almost had a big trifecta. Ive won 1k on a dollar bet before and on a 3 dollar trifecta. Just do some research is all i can say, i use horseracingnation.
I usually play red snake. 0 1 5 9-12 split 14 16 19 18 21 and so on with heavy red in the middle. It works pretty well to be honest. I win quite a bit on roulette.

Thanks for the video, will definitely check it out

i got a system never fails

Martingale the field bets. Don't get greedy. $2000 bank roll can earn $200 a day tax free. Then WALK AWAY. You can live ok like this.

...

>trifecta
What the fuck for? All the times you must be wrong to win that one bet. I guess if you have the margins, it wouldn't hurt. I'm not saying it's a dumb style, just that I'm only interested in approaching it from a reliable "boring" point of view.

Fake horse betting is even more luck than real (i.e. you can't even know anything about the horses), EXCEPT horses allow for a show bet. So if a show bet earns you 50%, that's two-three bets won and you're breaking even.

So virtual horses is like a randomized process where each horse has a chance to win. The way I read about it, you could visualize it as a big drawing of balls. #1 horse gets the most balls, #2 a few less, #3 less and so on. So if you pick #1 horse for SHOW bet, it's extremely likely that you'll get that most of the time. Even with a 33% payout, you only need three wins to get your money back.

This all sounds dumb, until you think about how it works: as a horse wins a show bet, it's removed. So #1 has to be very unlucky not to hit spot 1, 2 or 3 after the 1-2 winners are removed.

I should just try with $10 I guess, but thoughts? I'm in europe by the way, so I can't do real horse betting in my country too often. This show betting would just be playing on the strategy of winning very often, but little. Maybe I lose 90% of my earnings, but that's OK. The show bet is a 1-2-3 spot bet, and should pay out as long as you can take a few losses.

>i got a system never fails
lemme guess, not playing?

>Thanks for the video, will definitely check it out
yeah he's a little on the dork side, but enlightening. just stay away from all those middle bets.

>Martingale the field bets
depends on the field, if it's 2/12 for x2 only, then dont play field. if one of them is x3, then it's a good bet

I literally lived on the grounds of a race track for 8 years and you confused the shit out of me.

first time i ever play roulette and i bet on 13
i miss
bet again and hit on 13
say what are the chances it hits 13 again and i say good
bet on 13 and hit again
takes chips to cash in and lol

The system that never fails is to own the gambling establishment. Your net gain should be higher then your loses

I live in vegas and just started to play craps. It's a lot of fun once you get all the rules. All the casinos here will teach you if you ask. That's how I started. Most of them have early morning gambling lessons too so you can get an understanding before risking money.

>early morning
also the best time to play craps, if you can get your rolls down, because the minimums are cheap and you get a lot of practice

that's a fair counter, but getting a license to own an establishment is no small feat, it's expensive to get a casino up and running

>strategy
>roulette and craps is all that's discussed.

Besides horse racing guy you all are idiots.

>I usually play red snake. 0 1 5 9-12 split 14 16 19 18 21 and so on with heavy red in the middle. It works pretty well to be honest. I win quite a bit on roulette.
Any videos on this sort of stuff?

Virtual horses. It has nothing to do with horses. It's meant to get players into horses (and make them money).

"Virtual horses" basically runs a lottery every few minutes. Horses are seen running down a track, and are bet on like real horses. But it's all RNG (random chance/number generator).

Why this would be different from a normal lottery, is because in order to emulate horse-racing, it allows a SHOW bet. Also, to emulate horses, it shows odds on each "horse" (number you can pick).

So imagine a lottery, where you see how likely it is that each number wins, and also can show bet, i.e. let your picked number win wether it gets 1-2-3 spot.

It's probably unheard of for a reason, I'm just asking.

Even im a bit confused by what youre saying but im also drunk. Fuck just do it with 10 bucks like you said, or 20, or 50 if you want to get a better grasp of it.

It was my only trifecta of the night btw. Last years breeder cup.

Idk actually. I learned this from an old chinese man on a cruise lol there are definitely a ton of models for roulette though i haven't even tried them all. Im not even going to pretent to be a big spender or anything, but if i sit down at roulette with 50 i more often than not will walk away with 90-100 after drinking the whole time and playing for an hour.

here

ok i get you. never heard of that. seems interesting.

I only like betting on horses when I know something the public doesn't. My dad is a jockey so I always bet on him just cause it's fun and makes him feel good if he wins me money.

What do you play user?

Texas Hold 'em and BlackJack.

card counter?

Texas hold 'em against people or the table game?

>0 1 5 9-12 split 14 16 19 18 21 and so on with heavy red in the middle
Would you break it down for someone who never gambled? Your order of numbers seem off from what I can google from red snake, and I'm not sure what the split entails. If it's too much, I'll just google more (will anyway).

Does it really work, and have you tried it online? Statistically, no betting pattern should "work" short of martingale, and even that is defeated by table limits.

Both.
I don't count cards, I'm not that autistic.

Know your hand, even a bad hand can be detrimental to your opponents, follow your gut feeling, fuck bluff.

What i usually play, except usually only 10 dollar bets. so i change up some numbers every spin. And i usually always bet last number spun.

tried the James Bond method? Seemed like a good strategy for $20 a roll

Funny. Never tried it i guess. I love picking numbers though and i do quite well at it.

So you place all these, every round, and that's a strategy that works?

I'll try it if I ever get to a casino, I guess. Thanks for the image!

If you want this thread to last, make it on /biz/ and crosslink.

I do, 8-10 dollar bets a spin on red numbers with my green insurance. Hope it works for you friend.

So (minimum bet) on 0, 1, 5, 9|12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 27|30 and 36? Ok. Thanks.

There is a video knocking about from vagas of a man with 100K on 1 roulette number.. wins 3.5 mil shit goes crazy!

Here is said clip

I enjoy games with randomness but Jesus I would never bet significant money on them. If you don't know how to fleece people at a game you're being fleeced, and I'm not sure how to fleece. Fleece.
