Could a violent Christian reformation save Europe?
It's shown the youth join radical religion and still follow religion. Europeans are joining ISIS by the minute. It's easy to understand why. They love to be the rebels. They hate the 'peace and love!' bullshit the government forces down their throats, they're bored. They want to have meaning.
So with that, could a violent Christian Reformation openly encouraging imperialism and the forced spread of Christianity give europeans their balls back?
We should follow the based christianity advocated by Bernard of Clairvaux :
Adam Anderson
Seems good French bro. I"m sure the American South and European countryside could lead the takeover, promote it in the name of freedoms first, then associate Christianity with this battle.
Levi Jones
If by reform you mean return to Orthodoxy, sure.
Jack Stewart
>return to an offshoot
Joshua Young
Orthodoxy and Catholicism are very similar, except catholicism got cucked.
We need a fresh teaching that will make followers feel like revolutionaries and the crafters of the future. One that actively encourages spreading Christ, bible in one hand, sword in the other.
Ryder James
>The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church >offshoot
a fucking leaf
>fresh teaching
A "fresh" anything isn't going to work when the war we are fighting is traditionalism vs modernity.
Chase Lee
You follow Christianity because it is true, not trendy nor to save Europe
Nicholas Rivera
>cyka blyat XDD >a nu cheeki breeki i v damke XDDD
Isaiah Gomez
Modernity isn't fixed. We will shape change as we see fit. The youth want nothing to do with tradition. They move to cities, listen to new music, buy what's in fashion. You have to capture their spirit and present Imperialism as a new ideology like Socialism did.
It's also a great way to rally the people.
Believe me I'm no LARPer fag. Pray every night, church every sunday.
Ryan Scott
So in other words, you fucks want Christianity to be violent, warlike and wrathful. Like radical Islam. Why should anyone join your disgusting perversion of the faith when they can just become a muzzie?
Cooper Watson
Because Jesus lets you drink alcohol and eat pork
Camden Gomez
Because Imperial Christianity I want a return to of the 11th - 19th century encouraged technological progression and was civilised.
It's not a perversion of the faith.
Adrian Rogers
"Once man decides that any means are permitted to fight evil, his good becomes indistinguishable from the evil he would set out to destroy."
To answer your question OP, no.
Jonathan Richardson
>any means It's to spread Christ, so no.
Zachary Myers
>The youth want nothing to do with tradition
That's because they don't know much tradition. They know getting drunk on independence day. I'm talking about the traditionalism of Guenon and Evola, a restoration of monarchy. Most people these days don't know much about the traditional hierarchical idea but people who were in the military have a taste of it. I think the next war will whip people into shape. Mussolini was a total marxist faggot until he saw war.
Owen Johnson
Point taken.
>I want a return to of the 11th - 19th century encouraged technological progression and was civilised So you mean you're not in favor of retard southern baptist notions like that evolution didn't happen and so on?
Liam Bailey
European Christians accepted and adapted to Evolution.
Camden Russell
All the more reason a Nationalist European Revolt is what we need!
Colton Adams
It's only some Americans who haven't.
Gavin Phillips
Now that I can get behind. As long as it's not anti-science/pro ignorance Christianity's effects on society are mostly good. Southern Baptists and other heretics need to go.
Owen Fisher
10/10. I'm going to read the bible as of now.
Lucas Watson
If you want to turn Christianity into something cool the simplest way is to just put the Old Testament on a higher priority than the New Testament.
You can find all sorts of justification for war, violence, and general masculinity. In fact God spends a great deal of time advocating such virtues. It's a attested in multiple passages. Just look at the difference between how thew say you should respond to attacks, turn the other cheek vs an eye for an eye.
Jace Myers
I recommend reading the New Testament first.
Aiden Morris
>violent Christian
do you even Bible?
Easton Sanders
Europe is in danger, it's not about deforming the faith, but adapting it to this time.
We're besieged by muslims so we need a more aggressive faith than the faith the one when we were at peace.
Cooper Diaz
I've been working on this my whole life OP.
First I got into Orthodox Christianity. It's very traditional and there's even some room for nationalism in it. Only problem is modern theologians and clergy have extreme pacifist tendencies.
Now I've been researching how medieval Christians thought and believed. They continued to have blood feuds, wars, conquests, loved family and nature, hunted, premarital sex was not considered a serious sin for men but chastity was non negotiable for a prospective wife, etc. Turning the other cheek was not literal, and punishing sinners was considered virtuous. Heavy emphasis on the Old Testament whereas it is almost totally ignored by modern theologians. They were willing to ignore the church too when it got too restrictive, such as when popes and kings would quarrel over investiture or how all of the European aristocracy ignored the ban on knightly tournaments.
No modern branch really follows this older healthier Christianity anymore. I'm not sure what the answer is besides to live your own life by the martial Christian spirit which has been lost.
Luke Hall
What caused this mass fucking decline in the 20th century?
Angel Ramirez
Your slave religion of equality and compassion which has handicapped your people for two thousand years will finally destroy you all.
Michael Cox
Matthew 10:34
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Landon Robinson
>violent Christianity Fuck off, you are worse than dirt. We don't need more terrorism in this already fucked up world.
Radical Islam began to turn popular opinion against Islam, and this would turn popular opinion against Christianity.
Jacob Lopez
Daily reminder that Jesus did not come back to life. Rome took his teachings and tacked on his resurrection to justify the Church existing. Pretty much all '''''''''Christianity''''''''' is based on a lie invented to legitimise the state. You will not save Europe with a lie.
