You bought the normie Ariel album

Nice albums user, have fun with them
I wish I had a turntable with a decent amp, I've seen tons of good vinyls on flea markets for dirt cheap that I had to leave there because I don't think I'll own a hifi that plays them in the foreseeable future.

Haven't bought much recently because saving for a new turntable but YGR do some fantastic packaging

How do both of these albums sound? Pom pom naturally sounds like it was recorded on a cassette tape and there never was a good vinyl pressing of Ladies and Gentlemen...

A neighbor of mine also let me have Todd by Todd Rundgren, Dire Straits' self titled album, and 90125 by Yes for free

why tf did it post upside down

I've always wanted one of the cd editions of Ladies and Gentlemen in the blister packs but they're expensive as fuck

This month's acquisitions.
Bad Moon Rising has a Cindy Lauper Best of Sticker that cracks me up.
Nice Spiritualized, been looking for that one, only have Amazing Grace.
Nice albums, bad pic.

does that on mobile for some reason. cropping your image fixes it though

are you me?

Haven't played Ladies and Gentlemen yet, Pom Pom sounds good

What I've gotten over the past week or so.

...

I actually had to take back the Swans album today though, because despite still being new in the shrinkwrap the second record was an Aaron Neville album of all things.

bunch of digital shit and a cd that's too cool to pass on. the deisgn sold it

i'll post the digital purchases if anyone care

bnoos

>oingo boingo on Sup Forums
fuck YES

Fucking love Pom Pom
I am looking to add it to my collection as well
I like the Sonic Youth
I saw a paranoid cassette that was going for $50
I was tempted to buy it

The Shins, neato

...

Portishead, The Moon & Antarctica, Hell Hath No Fury, Music for the Jilted Generation, Rust Never Sleeps, and FishScale on CD

>I saw a paranoid cassette that was going for $50
>I was tempted to buy it
Fucking why

Why are you buying Cds?
Cds are dead since years ago.

Physically owning music is a lot of fun,
booklets and nice digipaks

And you can just rip the CD for a digital copy

>Portable
>Objectively superior to vinyl in multiple ways
>Can rip music to whatever format and bitrate you want
>All cars made since like 2000 or so have CD players
>Don't have to worry about battery life
>Physical format that you can't lose the rights to

Why wouldn't you buy CDs?

Because digital download exists

Also car players are starting to ditch CD player

>Because digital download exists
And carries the flaw of access to your digital copy being revoked at any time and for any reason.

i buy mostly digital and whenver i want an lp, if it isn't from bandcamp, it's too often without a download
sucks being a moralfag when the industry shits on itself

That's the case with streaming for sure, but actual download? It's not like they'll force you to delete the files or anything.

user might mean that cd's you can rip whenever you want, download codes not so much

Well, he didn't specify which type of digital distribution. Just upload in your backup equipment or cloud service of preference.

Besides, CDs are currently showing their short lifespan

...

does Floating in Space sound good?
I've heard that it sounds like shit and I'm scared to buy it

>It's not like they'll force you to delete the files or anything.
Probably not, but human error is possible. Sometimes you can permanently delete a file by mistake. What happens if you do that to an album that you owned digitally but no longer do because access to it was taken away?

You never have to worry about that with a CD. If you delete a ripped copy of a CD, you can just rip the CD again.
