COOL KIDS NEVER HAD THE TIME

tuna

Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness is honestly an amazing album.

>tfw liked this song as a kid because it sounded cool
>tfw it just makes me sad as an adult because of the lyrics

>tfw Bad Rabbits did a version that is WAY better than the original

I'll be the first to say that it's one of only 2 Pumpkins albums I can tolerate

AND IIIIIIIII DONT EEEEEEVEN CARE

>listened to this song nightly my senior year

I can tolerate three at most. Newer material is best ignored.

Siamese Dream is the other one, I assume.

not really

It takes a few listens before you realize how good this song actually is.

i'm graduating high school in a week and this has been on repeat in my car for the past 6 months. i've loved this song for years but i just started listening to the lyrics and
i'm not ready to be an adult yet FUCK

word

I blasted this nonstop my senior year of high school and my senior year of college. I can't think of any other songs off the top of my head that capture that feeling anywhere near as well.

God I fucking miss college.

The song is actually p intricate, its actually really cool to listen to the individual parts

Holy shit I thought the loud echoey sound in the verse was a guitar effect, I didn't realize it was distorted vocals.

also watch the 4th video starting at 1:06, it's too good for this world

The fact that it's billy saying today just gives more meaning to the song

Agreed. I'm listening to the full song on repeat now and while at first it was weird hearing the vocals there, now it just further reinforces that nostalgic/carefree feeling I get whenever I listen to it.

this song is the distillation of what it feels like to be young and carefree. it's not even a 90's thing either. truly a song you take to the grave.

Only good Smashing Pumpkins album

not even

I have to go back....

bump.
