It's great. That "podcast" (who are we kidding, it's a serialised audiobook) gives me chills every time.

The last 40 mins or so chart Alexander the Great's rise to power and conquest of Persia. It's epic in the true sense of the word.

Anyone who recommends How did This Get Made or Doug Loves Movies, please kill urself

>How did This Get Made

Yeah these guys can be pretty unlikeable cunts. I did enjoy learning about behind the scenes stuff from the Crank movies.

I like the podcast they did with the woman who directed Punisher Warzone.

Still don't like the movie, but it was interesting hearing her take on things.

The Nerdist podcast has some really amazing guests. The hosts aren't really up to much, they're not nearly as funny or interesting as they think they are, but they do get the best guests and let them talk for about an hour. They do get a lot of good stuff out of their guests as well.

Some notable guests they've had:
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Tom Cruise
Tom Hanks
Quentin Tarantino
William Shatner
Bill Gates
Mike Judge
Kevin Bacon
Patrick Stewart
Bryan Cranston
Gary Oldman
Paul McCartney (IIRC)

And the list goes on and on. As you'd expect, there aren't any difficult questions and the guest gets power over the final edit, so there are no shock revelations or awkward moments, but you get a nice bit of insight into the lives of megastars. Some, like Macca and Tom Cruise are surprisingly down to earth.

Interesting, because the crank podcasts, and the punisher warzone podcast were the only two I liked, because they had the directors to talk to and we got to see that side of production. Everything else was pretty boring. I also never listened to any of the pocasts about movies I hadn't seen yet, so I don't have a big objective opinion. I honestly don't have any other recommendations for movie podcasts, the ones I've tried just turned me off by having dumb opinions, or missing the point of the movie, or not talking about certain aspects of it. Avoid "I will watch anything once" podcast, thats all I can say.

Does this get better? I tapped out during the first episode because I found the guest a bit boring.

giving 'We Hate Movies' a go right now lads

Everyone needs to checkout Doughboys, a podcast where two comedians talk about chain restaurants. V comfy.

Most recent common sense was garbage. Dan spent like 30 mins talking about how people on the internet are too mean.

Only one that hasn't already been mentioned.
