Probably pretentious for me to answer my own question, but I used to be a DJ (back when dubstep was a huge thing, it was a cringy time in my life. Once my computer broke, I attempted to learn guitar, I found various genres of music to be fascinating, and tended to experiment with various sounds, so I looked more into experimental music, and became interesting especially in singer-songwriter music.
My buddy :)

I started wanting to make music after hearing The Fall of Troy's self titled album when I was 14. Looked it and Doppelganger up after playing guitar hero. It was a level of self expression I hadn't really heard before.
Last one is not dead at all.
In fact it's not even 9 hours old so stop trying to shill so hard and post your shit in
That's weird. It didn't show up when I was looking the catalog. My apologies.
>What made you want to make music?
Burzum and other black metal bands' lo-fi/DIY aesthetic and stoner metal bands' incredible sound.

>What made you want to make music?
Listening to Donald Fagen's The Nightfly when I was a child made me want to make music.

Why are you so upset
Go eat your crayons
some people have lives and don't want to sit at their computers all day.
those people don't post on Sup Forums
Glad you enjoyed it ~
Listening to yours, the last two tracks specifically since those were queued up. I love the way it's recorded and it has some really cool, memorable moments. Going to download and give a full listen.
If I had to critique anything, the lyrics get a little cheesy or overly flowery at times, but that's more personal preference than anything.
I should've expected as much, but really didn't enjoy any of this.
Ack. Your guitar is miserably out of tune. Like, unlistenably so. The tone of it is just...really rough. I'm sorry I can't give better feedback.

Relaxing, but creative as well. I love that choir sample in your first song. Second song's drum pattern is really nice too. Your sounds are pretty good all around. The whole EP has a very wistful, contemplative vibe to it.
I will say getting people to spend money on what's essentially your first EP is going to be difficult. For now, I'd worry more about getting downloads and getting your name out.
Fitting music for Asheville, heh. Not my thing though. Listened around halfway through 3 different songs, it's just...I dunno. It feels so passionless. Like it was just made to smoke weed and stare at the wall to. But then, most vaporwave related stuff gives me a similar impression, so...not really an authority on the genre.
PS: to the guy who posted the house of Sup Forumssicians thing, email support and they'll give your free downloads back.
