I don't go to Kendrick for the politics. I like political/conscious rap a lot, but not his stuff. His bars and bangers are better.

Kendrick is in another league than any other rapper or artist. I like all the political stuff he talks about. The hypocracy between the black community. The wanting of fame, money, and power. The struggle and temptations that come with living in the hood. Fate. Kung-fu Kenny can't be stopped

I know what you mean. I actually thought about releasing a top 10 KL's lyrical bangers list. Since my list is basically a top conscience rap list

Everyone here is stuck on the new stuff. Yall need to diversify.

10. Fuck Your Ethnicity

Some from DAMN. in my top 20, but def not my top 10.

I absolutely agree, Kendrick's discography is already at its peak; it's higher than any other artists from this generation. Ever since Good kid Maad City was released, he was already rising. TPAB, he was at his absolute peak.

It's really difficult to diversify when you have a fuck ton of amazing songs. Then again, they're just opinions.

8. FEEL.
9. Growing Apart
10. Alright

His old stuff is incredible, they each tell different stories. The newest album was great, but lacked something I haven't figure out yet.

Finally a list that actually makes sense

Anybody seen Zane Lowe Interviewing Kendrick lamar? You can just see how passionate he is about his craft. The love for hip hop and how important it is when it comes to choosing each single word in his lyrics. Kendrick is On a god level

Well fuck me, no particular order! Going to see him live in August so fucking pumped!

4. mAAd City
5. i
6. ADHD
7. Swimming Pools

9. DNA
10. Humble

Before making my top 10 list, I went back and listened only his albums (SEC80, GKMC, TPAB, UU, & DAMN.) and broke my list of favorite songs from those albums in the process. I can say it was so fucking difficult. And of course his old work is great. I agree. Also while he was working on DAMN. I can assume at some point he was like "okay, I'm going to add more bangers, and less conscience/political/jazz rap lol

1. Sing about me
2. For sale?
3. Blacker the Berry
4. Pride
5. Backseat Freestyle/King Kunta
6. u

8. These walls
9. Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe
10. Various collabs (Schoolboy Q 6' 7' freestyle, On Me w/The Game, The Recipe w/Dr. Dre, Goosebumps w/ Travis Scott, etc.)
This list is total bullshit, I really couldn't categorize his songs if I wanted to it depends on the mood but contributing because he's definitely my favorite rapper and has been leagues ahead of anyone for quite some time now
>inb4 no Hiipower listed

>Nobody puts Wanna Be Heard in their top 3 Kendrick songs of all time
