I loved a lot of this movie. Personally, I love a movie with good characters and so I really enjoyed myself. For me, literally perfect Harley Quinn, her mix of crazy and obsessively loving if you get on her good side was so endearing. When you saw she thought her Mr. J was dead in the rain... that was heartbreaking. So good job. I loved Will Smith's Deadshot, I don't even care that he was basically Will Smith because he can act and make me believe he was a murderer who still loved his daughter.

The other characters had their moments and I actually felt like they all had their due, maybe I would have liked more Killer Croc, I know its coming on the DVD.

I thought the action sequences were nothing crazy but very solid and good to watch. Special Effects were great. Batman to me was perfectly used.

The Bad:

Well, I gotta say that the soundtrack was really hit or miss, It Ain't Me was totally stupid and also Eminem. The new original songs were actually pretty good, I wish that Joker racing Batman was longer. I know it was Skrillex and we are all supposed to hate him now but meh, I dug it what can I say?

The Joker was controversial for me, I hated his laugh, hated a lot of his mannerisms but his acting when he was talking to Harley was wonderful. "Would you die for me? Wait...too easy" was a very underrated line and up there with anything Ledger or Nicholson has ever said.

So very mixed feelings, I feel bad for Leto however I think maybe it was for the best we didn't see him do a bunch of solo shit that could have made the movie way worse. If there is any Joker/Harley stuff on the cutting room floor, bring that on WB!

I'd probably give this movie a 7.9 out of 10 because of the off putting elements and the forced humor.

PS I really don't see how this plot was in any way confusing. Maybe the tonal shifts were jarring and you could see a couple cuts but holy shit I don't want to know you if you couldn't follow a plot like this, it was literally linear.

This movie doesn't have Zack Snyder's fight choreography or cinematography, nor does it have Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack. It doesn't have decent performances outside of 1-2 characters (Deadshot and Boomerang). The editing is a complete mess and clearly had studio interference.

There's nothing redeemable about this movie. Nothing. BvS was a superior film to this and I didn't even like that one that much.

Why must you insist on defending this film? At least the other two films had some good qualities in them. This doesn't have anything other than being in the same universe.

Just got back from seeing it and it is indeed the worst movie of the year, by far. Editing is a complete disaster. They used a "classic" rock song from pop-culture every five minutes, attempting to give it a "Guardians" sort of style, but it was ridiculous.

The dialogue was atrocious. Absolutely no character development. Just commands and expletives, and memes. Will Smith is really doing his best to salvage the film and I give him props for that. Also, Margot is a good Harley.

Now Leto, on the other hand. Fuck. I have never seen a more pathetic display of try-hard to emulate Heath Ledger. An absolute mess and he should be embarrassed. No wonder most of his scenes were cut.

The film's attempt to rush through laying a foundation is clearly studio interference and desperation at competing with Marvel. The opening scenes with How To Get Away with Murder woman and Sheriff Hopper are somewhat palpable, but what follows is a series of awful montages and vignettes. Hopefully WB realizes that this can't be done. And I say this as a true DC fan.

Shoehorning Batman in here and there but not in the main conflict of the film just presents a ridiculous concept of villains fighting villains. And if that wasn't enough, the Suicide Squad don't even know what they are fighting for throughout the ENTIRE movie.

Batman vs Superman was an awful movie, and yet it triumphs in comparison to this bullshit.

Story was a mess. Entire premise is to stop superman level threats with metas and the team they have has no fucking chamce of stopping any metas let alone superman level threats. This shit team would lose to batman on his own.

They didnt even do anything useful. They were backed up with full military team killing weird ass alien mutant things that could have did the same thing. Hell major threat was killed by military bomb. Why didnt they just fucking drop a bomb on the fucking magic cunts if a fucking breeching charge killed them?

The entire movie is disjoint and makes no sense. Marvel bottom tier movies at least have basic and coherent plot that progressies in cookie cutter way with odd entertaining fight or scenes that flow together properly. Still ahit but functional storytelling.

Its a more than serviceable throwback to the 90s action movies like Con Air and The Rock. Hell, it even has Will Smith acting as Will Smith.
