What movies/shows use this trope?

I only remember this from the Emperor's New Groove.
Every other film/show from the 90s-early 2000s.
Uh wasn't the time travel one like that?
It's literally just emperor's new groove and kiss kiss bang bang
This. Not even a trope really.
Plebpool
Literally occurred this year in the new warner bros. Animated Storks trailer
That Limitless TV show did it.
R.I.P.D.
I know, nobody saw it
There's definitely a Ben Stiller movie or six where this happens
Not a movie but probably about 1 in every 4 episodes of how I met your mother
Megamind
Every movie starring a kid in high school.
it was kinda tongue in cheek in kiss kiss bang bang
I think that shitty John Green movie with the Victoria's Secret model started like that
Honestly I don't mind the way this was used in Gravity Falls and The Emperors New Groove, but every other use of this trope is shit.
Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith were good in it though, and it has so many memorable parts, like when he shoots the target of the little girl because she has quantum physics books in the middle of little venus.
REST ASSURED THERE IS A PERFECTLY LOGICAL EXPLANATION FOR THIS SITUATION.

Every Scorsese and guy Ritchie movie
