this thread had broken my neck

yeah
fuck you

the future belongs to the phoneposters

if those are your only records, then I'm sorry but you're a fucking normie

literally nothing but Sup Forumscore

Pop tart unrelated

mmm

>tribe called quest scenario 12" single
I actually just picked up an original press of that a month or two ago at my local record store. Its a pretty cool lil record!

Christ those are some ugly shoes

which variant is the pop tart?

in case you're interested these were for sale at the show

a tripfag here was looking for someone to cop him one of those shirts

recent purchases ft. amazing lighting

i like them

Its kind of new, something like vanilla latte

same
what number is yours?

leave arca alone user
i also didnt know they made a record of tf2 songs thats pretty cool

1496, you?
still haven't opened mine though and i've seen some people receiving disc 1 chipped on the edges

>i also didnt know they made a record of tf2 songs thats pretty cool

it's two lp's, one blue and one red. there's a locked groove at the end of each side with background environment sounds from various maps, one of the loops is jungle themed hinting at a new map.

0740
both discs look fine so maybe it was just a few of them
huh. neat

Been busy for the last few months. Found a goldmine in a little boutique store downtown. Apparently someone owned a record store for close to thirty years. He passed and now his wife is selling his collection for pennies on the dollar.

Rate my faggot taste

cool, they look nice. how does it sound?

i think they did a good job with the vinyl pressing
its very well-rounded

>raw power still sealed
Jelly

nice taste man :)
pic related, most of my prog records as of now

does Sup Forums even buy records anymore? These threads used to get huge.

Please marry me (no homo)
What other bands do you listen to ?

LOT of Gentle Giant. I'd have their entire discography if I could even find them around me.
I've just recently been getting into Jethro Tull (listened to Thick as a Brick for the first time a few days ago)
I also like Red and Lizard by King Crimson but that's about it for them.
I also listen to Pink Floyd and Rush sometimes but I kinda played them out when I was in high school.

Please don't bully me

>purchasing loudness war reissues

Closest I could get to a 3x3

Different person here, my disc 2 has a chip in it. But it doesn't affect the actual record, just the run in grooves, so I'm not that worried

>VINYLS
don't ya mean records freindo
Sweet purchases
Damn thats really cool where
No bully here like all those albums

>where?
No way am I giving that info.

I'm slowly getting into Gentle Giant too, what's your favourite album ?

i remember you, didn't you use to post a bunch of privates / american primitive / guitar soli shit

post something actually interesting

I've posted some in the past, yes.
But I think you're thinking of an old trip named Banjoman Franklin.

oh crap yeah, that's who i'm thinking of. i would just post private jazz at him. nvm

Latest ones. What I'm waiting in the mail
>AnCo - Meeting of the Waters EP
>Portal - Outré (2017 repress, had no idea it was reissued)
>Velho - Decrepitude & Sabedoria
>Alcest - Kodama

>picture disc
vomit

either I shell out like $60-70 for the regular vinyl or I could get it for 30 on RSD

I've heard nothing but terrible things about the MBDTF vinyl. Cool packaging, but shitty pressing.

Depends what kind of mood I'm in. If i just want some easy listening fun prog I'd listen to Free Hand.
youtube.com/watch?v=HFIJTpJNIaQ
If I'm in the mood for some real wizard shit I'd listen to Octopus.
youtube.com/watch?v=BTet3C_afKA
Some of their later stuff on The Missing Piece is a little simplified but there's some good shit on there
youtube.com/watch?v=GrOvehhsn8c
I'd also definitely recommend listening to some of their live stuff. They basically rewrite their songs when they perform them live and its usually even better than the original

You can say that for every trendy/popular artist getting vinyl releases these days

Just realized I didn't even mention The Power and the Glory, which is another one of their better albums and is what I consider their peak.

Are you my homie Clinton? That tarkus album is so fly. Sounds exactly like it looks.

M8 you're acting like you're important enough to track down it's not like I'm asking for your adress

Definitely not Clinton haha. But yea Tarkus is a great album.
>Sounds exactly like it looks.
Thats because its supposed to! Its a concept album about the birth of Tarkus, a battle with a Manticore (which Tarkus ends up losing), And Tarkus becoming Aquatarkus.

This is all shown in the gatefold of the album

Don't you mean validate?

> binged out at a 1/2 price sale

...

Just started collecting, did I do good?

Not much of a kendrick fan but not bad

What turntable you got?

Got it from a friend for $30, sounds decent as fuck.

Its a Realistic Lab 1600, not a lot of info online about it. But I've heard that it functions almost exactly like a Sony PS FL99.

Huh, thats an interesting design.
You're probably gonna wanna upgrade when the time comes for a new cartridge, cause theres not a lot of options for P-mount (at least that looks like a P-mount from the picture)
But that's definitely a neat lil turntable

bump

...

shit, hopefully you can get the gist of this

>tfw no one ever asks people to post their cd collections

post it anyways faggot

Extremely unpopular Record Store Day release from 2015, a reissue of The Dixie Cups' 1964 debut album. One of the best girl-group LPs of the 60's.

TVU and ITAOTS are both good, but the rest is awful

...

That miles is my favorite. Fuck yeah

...

Another batch. Rate me snobs...

...

...

I don't have vinyls but I copped Ween's White Pepper and Mr. Bungle's California on CD yesterday.
