>descriminated

Yes, by the racist black people

>God's not dead.
Then where is he? Playing hide and seek

>hurr durr if I can't see it it's not real
Do you think air is fake too? Or that Europe isn't a real place because you've never been there?

>more than 100 years gone and they still don't understand this Nietzsche's quote
Americans should be banned from any cultured society, honestly.

I hope so

>trips

If you actually watch the movie it makes zero sense. Some teacher goes to court because she said Jesus in class or some dumb shit.

Why should he believe something that there is no evidence of?

>Some teacher goes to court because she said Jesus in class or some dumb shit.

It literally shows simmilar court cases at the end of the film. It IS illegal for teachers to teach christianity in schools.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Typical theist non argument

If you could prove god was real as easily as you can prove air is real, we wouldn't be having this conversation you autist

Guys these are bait threads this guy had no friends so this is the only socialization he gets

probably homeschooled

No fucking shit, because they're supposed to be teaching verifiable reality rather than baseless theology. That's what Sunday school is for.

>descriminated

what's that?

shouldn't she be going to germany to complain?

Yeah, but definitely not in America. They still hold the most influence. Hence why we have so many politicians who actually believe the earth is 6000 years old.

See? Descrimination. If you said that about muslims you'd go to prison for "hate crimes"

executed along with all religious nonwhites white traitors drug users government employees/criminals

Yes and no.

Christianity itself isn't. A lot of people are realizing a large and growing percentage of Americans aren't Christian, and trying to remove the protections it enjoys that seem to blur the rule of "separation of Church and state" as well as to recognize the legitimacy of other faiths, including the nonreligious.

However, a lot of Christians will receive discrimination in the wake of this. We all remember the guy who was attacked after refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding. Honestly, that's his right; his religious beliefs mean he can't knowingly support it. Honestly, that just means they should've gotten a cake from someone who supported it. Even if they publicly said "we don't like this guy and want to warn other people from supporting his business because he doesn't make cakes for gay weddings" that's fine, the effects on his sales is just capitalism at work. But anything beyond refusing to support his business because you don't support his practices is unfair discrimination.

Unfortunately this argument has been lost by a lot of my new-wave liberal bretheren who forget that, as the popular majority, they can easily promote their ideals without attacking conservative religious types and that refusing service to them based on faith isn't the guy being an evil bastard.

>politicians who actually believe the earth is 6000 years old
...is this real?

yep

>It IS illegal for teachers to teach christianity in schools
Except as part of a religious studies class and such.

What you can't do is teach Christianity in, say, science class, because it's religion, not science.

>We all remember the guy who was attacked after refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding
He relesed his would-be-clients' names online when they were protected by law or some shit like that, if I remember correctly.

ah yes the new-age liberals that lost an election because they didn't need white votes

Everyone is discriminated black people for being niggers Mexicans for being border hopping rapist. Asians for being good at math and horrid drivers. Jews for being greedy as hell. Muslims for being goat raping insane murders. Fat people for liking food. Faggots for fucking the same sex. So their everyone is who the hell cares.

The only difference is that "science" is what atheists believe and they're taking over the country.

If schools are using religious studies to teach christianity instead of, ya know, studying it, then they're wrong.

not an argument

I don't remember that but yeah, at that point he's being a fuckhead.

2/10 made me reply

is that you

It's the issue of private club vs business open to the public.

If you can refuse to serve gays, then you can also refuse to serve blacks, women, crippled people, etc. As a society, we decided that isn't right.

I do say it about them you literal imbecile. Religion has no place in schools. If teachers started teaching sharia in our schools, you'd start screeching.

No

Err... the teachers teach. The students study.

not him, been helping my local priest for several years
totalizm.pl/god_proof.htm

thats not how education works. If you don't understand the distinction between teaching christianity and studying it, then you're uneducated.

The biggest religion of the western world being discriminated against? Fuck no! If anything, they commonly use the rationale that they're being discriminated against as an outright excuse to persecute those weird or more unique, gays and muslims for instance.

If anything, most people get ahead for openly expressing Christian values. Many businesses ran by Christians prefers to only hire them and grant them the best raises and promotions.

For hundreds of years now, the Western World for the most part considered Christians a cut above the rabble and they got preferential treatment for being the right religion under law and business. And this is still true *to some extent*, but most people are beginning to see Christians as no better, and frequently worse, than everyone else.

I've known some good Christians but most use it as an excuse to consider themselves better than everyone else for no tangible reason and to openly hate those that they see as ideological enemies.

But still, Christians get a lot of preferential treatment in business, in life, and in personal disputes. Most of the moral majority types will flock to ANY other Christians aid, no matter what problem, particularly if they share the same denomination.

*tips fedora*

>thats not how education works
It is.
>If you don't understand the distinction between teaching christianity and studying it, then you're uneducated.
You're a troll.

where i live there's religious studies in school, the catholics and protestants have their own courses, muslims have an hour off, those with no faith have the option for a general ethics course.

bit unfair on the muslims, i've heard they're looking into establishing a class in cooperation with another school.

You can't study christianity without teaching christianity.
What would you discuss about?

...

Indoctrination vs education

>totalizm.pl/god_proof.htm
wow this is awful.

Not an arugument.
What, do you think, is "awful" about this?

a God movie lanched on april fools day?!?!?

that's not specific to christianity

and you'd have to argue with guesswork about what the indoctrination actually is, because you haven't been taught

seems impractical

The Bible says Christians will be persecuted. Therefore, American Xtians have to find shit to claim is persecution.
It's gotten to the point that they claim they're persecuted any time they don't get their way. Now, whenever someone doesn't just roll over and become a human carpet for a Xtians, they cry that they're being discriminated against.

A Xtian cake maker is supposed to get all the business in the state and be able to shit on anybody they want - or they're being persecuted for their beliefs.

Rambles on for paragraph after paragraph before even attempting to "prove" god, then says the lack of evidence against it proves it and starts spewing psuedoscience.

It's trash.

I wish they were

>starts spewing psuedoscience
>it's not science because it proves something I don't want to believe

Nope, not science because it doesn't follow the scientific method.

You can literally scroll down to any part of the page and there will be one of many strong arguments for the existence of God.
I did just that, here's ONE of the many, many arguments.
2. Operation of the brain and memory. Orthodox medicine persists in telling people that memory is contained in their physical bodies (brain). However, all empirical facts prove, that memory is contained outside of physical bodies, i.e. in human soul. Of course, the reason for this persistent telling is clear - the medicine does NOT want to admit that human soul does exist. The wealth of evidence which unambiguously indicates that memory is NOT contained in physical bodies (i.e. brain), but in our souls, includes so-called OBE ("out of body experiences"), NDE ("near-death experience"), multiple personalities, memories of previous reincarnations, etc. But biologists sabotage research on these phenomena and lie to the society regarding interpretations of outcomes. More on this subject is explained in item #C1.1 of the web page about nirvana, and also in subsection I5.4 of monograph.

>not science because it doesn't follow the scientific method
And why does it need to do so? If I find out something in a different way, does that somehow make it not true?

lol

Christians almost have the same psychological patterns as niggers, though they're done a bit more intelligently.

They both have a confirmation bias about being persecuted, just automatically believe it's true no matter what, and they'll look for even the smallest things to confirm that belief. They often make mountains out of molehills in the process. They'll deliberately misinterpret facts to support their agenda.

Then niggers/Christians seek to persecute others that they see as "persecuting" them such as gays/muslims or in the case of niggers, white people.

Every group in history that's committed massacres and atrocity against another people has always used the excuse that the other group persecutes them and is a threat to their way of life.

Of course these threats and persecutions are nothing more than fantasies and an excuse to hate other groups carte blanche.

Strong in groups create strong out groups. Us vs them. If you're not with us, you're against us. A big part of it is imaginary persecution.

possibly, yes

nice argument

Like I said, pseudoscience trash.

Studies of near death experiences etc. have never indicated that a soul exists.

Got through to the D section and then stopped.
So far seemed to be based on Decartes Ontological Argument, which has been proven false.

Also believing this "proof" would also require to believe in the Invisible Pink Unicorn as IPU meets the same requirements.

Good try.

kek almost got baited

>christians aren't descriminated
>they are allowed to be compared to niggers publically
pick one

i'm laughing at you, not the argument

>look at the sky
>see it's blue
>hey the sky is blue
>NO YOU DINDU USE THE METHOD IT DONT COUNT HURRR

>And why does it need to do so?
It needs to be so if you want it to be science.
>If I find out something in a different way, does that somehow make it not true?
Not necessarily, but you need to be able to show that your methodology is sound if you want anyone to believe you.

So far science is the best method that mankind has found to learn about the world around us.

stop trolling lol

>Also believing this "proof" would also require to believe in the Invisible Pink Unicorn as IPU meets the same requirements.
W-what?

Being this fucking retarded. Observation is one fucking step in the entire method you literal downs victim

no

>So far science is the best method that mankind has found to learn about the world around us.
There's a bit in God's not Dead 1 about this.
Science was wrong for most of history while the Bible was correct. People thought the universe always existed while the Bible said it had a beggining, look where we're at now, right all along.

>If I find out something in a different way, does that somehow make it not true?

if you find out something "in a different way" to the scientific method, you

- don't allow other people to find out the same and confirm or question it
- don't question or explain your methods and don't let other people question them

not science, possibly lies and deception

nice try, maybe you should join the trump administration

The presentation is horrible. Ever heard of whitespace? And the difference in font sizes strains the eyes. The presentation makes it all but unreadable.

Second, it goes on and on about all these "proofs", but never actually talks about the proof.

second, it's rather extraordinary to claim human nature is due to the existence of large scale dipolar gravitic fluctuations. The physics does NOT prove that the soul exists. The physics does not suggest anything about the soul.

There is no physical evidence of a gravitational dipole - there is no such thing as anti gravity.

>i say things happen without proof to prove the existance of something that has no proof

you might just genuinely be the product of 23 generations of incest. keep going, cletus

>i am literally dumb as rocks

Let's see christians are the vast majority in America. Religious symbols are on our money and national monuments. Christian holidays are national holidays, no other religion has a their holidays be national holidays. I would say christians have it pretty good. Stop being whiny bitches.

>W-what?

What?

Actually if you look into those court cases none of them have anything to do with what happened to the teacher.
youtu.be/6mm6qdSVfUc?t=371

>Science was wrong for most of history while the Bible was correct.
The big difference is that science is self-correcting. When science makes a mistake, it can be fixed. When the Bible is wrong, it's wrong forever. It has no mechanism to fix its mistakes (besides ad hoc rationalizations from believers).

>The physics does NOT prove that the soul exists. The physics does not suggest anything about the soul.
Ever heard about the experiment where if you weigh humans before and after they die, they weigh less? Thought so, today's media wouldn't dare talk about it.

Not nearly enough.
They've had the fucking run of the place for far too long and turned it into a goddamn mess.

what?

You mean the one that can't be reproduced and had awful controls and a small sample size?

Now I know you're trolling.

And we came to the beggining, it's NOT tought at schools because teachers would be persecuted if they did!

"No every part of the bible God's literal word"
*presents evidence*
"That bit is clearly a metaphor"

2/10 again

In 1901, MacDougall weighed six patients while they were in the process of dying from tuberculosis in an old age home. It was relatively easy to determine when death was only a few hours away, at which point the entire bed was placed on an industrial sized scale which was reported to be sensitive to "two-tenths of an ounce" or five and a half grams. He took his results (a varying amount of unaccounted-for mass loss in four of the six cases) to support his hypothesis that the 'soul' had mass, and when the 'soul' departed the body, so did this mass, leaving the soulless corpse "a soul lighter". The determination of the 'soul' weighing 21 grams was based on the loss of mass in the first subject at the moment of death.

MacDougall later measured fifteen dogs in similar circumstances and reported the results as "uniformly negative," with no perceived change in mass. He took these results as confirmation that the 'soul' had weight, and that dogs did not have 'souls'. MacDougall's complaints about not being able to find dogs dying of the natural causes that would have been ideal led one author to conjecture that he was in fact killing the experimental animals, as is standard practice in scientific experiments.[2] On March 10, 1907, before MacDougall was able to publish the results of his experiments, New York Times broke the story in an article titled "Soul has Weight, Physician Thinks". MacDougall's results were published in April of the same year in the Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research and the medical journal American Medicine.

Reception[edit]

Thing is, the bible has yet to be proven wrong.

science is just the namen people gave to the process of finding information in the most unbiased and disprovable way we know of. ways any and everyone could recreate to ensure valuable information that any person could disprove were they research it as well.

so yes, depending on your "other method" you're likely wrong.

Totally debunked for decades now. The human body does NOT lose weight - scientifically proven to not lose weight.

Try again.

Yes I have heard of it and they found that weight didn't change.
