Before 1971 (happened a lot of shady shit back then) coins had actual precious metal content. Dimes had silver and pre-1971 dimes are today worth like two dollars each just for the metal content.
This coin though is probably more valuable than that.

if you are going to state facts about something, at least do us the favor of due diligence of being certain and doing a little research. also, a lot of trade dollars are Chinese fakes from the 1950s

that coin is also only worth about 50 cents because of the surface wear and lack of rarity in date. better off coming up with a cool story and framing it.
