How often do people try to steal shit?

What happens when you catch someone cheating?

in what country

Fairly often. Usually 2 to 3 times a week per shift. Stealing people's money from machines is the most common. Also taking lost items and not returning them such as phones.
Our surveillance team informs us, if they have taken any money they pay restitution and are banned for life. If they can't pay the money, then we send out a notice to the county procescutor for theft.

I've made money gains in online poker. What's the difference if I go to the casino? Also, what's the probability that someone cheats at my table?

what state

I'm not too familiar with online gambling but if you'really playing the tables it should be a similar experience. Cheating is seldom and is often caught immediately by survaillance.

I usually work in state of pure boredom. Sometimes anxiety though.

>if they have taken any money they pay restitution

Is this equal or greater than the amount they "stole"?

How crooked are the dealers (stacked shuffles and the like)

Equal to. The casino's methods for taking your money is much more subtle and psychological than just outright taking money.

are you, or is the casino connected in any way to the mob/underworld?

Being perfectly honest, not at all. The odds are already so stacked against the player we really have no reason to cheat.

how badly stacked are the odds for us?

which casino?

How often does the pit boss take cheaters to the back and beat the shit out of them and tell them to never come back?

Depends on what you're playing. Slots are the worst though. With any modern slot, you're playing a programable machine. There's a machine on property that just hit a 20,000 dollar jackpot. For the first time in about 2 or so years.

To prevent casino liability we keep state troopers on site at all times. So that's their job, and it has happened on rare ocassions.

What level of surveillance is there usually? I mean - there's always gonna be a chance I'm watched whilst playing video roulette but does the machine report back anywhere itself if I'm feeding it big amounts of bills then betting on black and red to win with a dollar side bet on a random number?

>it has happened on rare occasions

God bless the boys in blue. Warms my heart to imagine some faggot getting taken to the back and having his teeth kicked in :)

funniest thing you've seen on the job?

Are you bored?

To expand on this with some table games, the odds are less worth the payout the higher you go. On a roulette table if you bet the 2-1 odds on red or black your chances are more around 60/40 instead of 50/50. But in a jackpot on a card table the odds are usually around 99.999/.0001 for a 200-1 payout.

Kicked out a drunk and he declared "I ain't been caught before and ain't getting caught now." Just before leaping over a guardrail and off a 20 ft drop. Breaking his spine. He tried to sue us a few weeks later.

I didn't think they had machines that paid coins anymore.

Does this guy work there

What does your casino do to watch for card counting and what are the consequences?

How much do you get paid?
What education was required?
Do you enjoy your work?

Tell us everything you know about mafia influence on the casino.

How's it feel working for a bunch of drunk redskinned jew wannabe savages?

Have you ever been told to fuck a man's ass after he was counting cards/cheating at the table?

Was you paid over time or is it part of the job?

They dont. They give tickets now. Making it very easy to hit the "cash out" button and take off with the ticket.
Giving them a meal comp as a way of saying "get off the table get a meal and try it again." Then usually they'll force a shuffle and see if anyone says anything. Worst case scenerio you get pulled off and taken to the gaming office for a discussion.
12.50 per hour
Just a gaming license and a security license.
Generally I do. It's fun to hang out in the casino and be socialable whie also enforcing the rules and regulations.

I work for a casino that Is a part of a larger entertainment company owned by a white canadian.

Ever fucked around on the job? Or gotten in any kind of trouble?

Replied to the wrong post on this one.

Yeah I fuck around a lot on slow days. Never been in any trouble other than a verbal warning or two.

In the end, was taking this job worth it?

I'd say so. Pays well enough. Im getting my emt license finished up soon and they'll bump up my pay a couple bucks and I'll help with all the old people and their constant medical needs so I can throw that on a resume.

You probably work for MGM. Fuck that corporate disease.

I actually dont. I work for pinnacle.

Haha, right. That's when casinos were great. That's long gone.
