Will we see some more cringe-inducing method acting?
When will this madness end?
Mom's gonna freak when she hears about this.

If anything, he's going to save this movie

Besides this role, Leto's an alright actor

HHHHONKA HONKA

Of the casting so far he's the most meh

>Gooseman
>Ana De Armas
>Batista

Hope he dies in the first 10 minutes.

>IM DA REPLICANT BAYBE

>All those moments will be lost in time, like tears...in...REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAIN

I'm a little skeptical to be honest.
With how movies are nowadays, a part of me is nervous that this movie will just be another generic action shoot em up that will only be good for when you want to turn your brain off for 2 hours.
If it is that, at least Leto will add some color to it.

Memeing aside, Leto was pretty good tho. Even in SS.

Even director Denis Villeneuve wasn't safe from Leto's twisted vision:

“One time I yelled ‘cut’ and Jared turned to me and said ‘what if someone just stood in the middle of Tech Noir and yelled cut? Maybe the hackerpunks in VR gear would forget their trained routine of cracking ATMs’ My jaw hit the floor and it never really came back up. That’s when I thought, is he getting in character to play a Replicant, or is a Replicant something that’s been in him all along?”

“Sometimes i would go to look into the cameras, and I noticed Jared had put something in the lens. It was stuff like 'What if cameras were Voight-Kampff machines? Would you buy a master detective?’ and 'Lights. Camera. Time to die.’ I had to ask him to stop because I was getting too scared to direct.”

Blade Runner really doesn't need a sequel. It's like making another American Psycho movie or a Fight Club 2, it's stupid because it's supposed to be a concept movie

Does this mean we'll get a kino bladrunner music video, too?

not trying to argue you, I didn't like his role... but I am going to blame the script, and all the marketing and moms gonna freak publicity, if he would have done his role and that's it, probably I would be ok with it

>Tech Noir
>Blade Runner
stop trying to steal ridley's legacy, jim

>sends castmates oragami
>keeps saying hes an android
>spray paints his body silver to convince people hes a robot
>gets one line

>people find method acting impressive

Frankly I'm more impressed by the actors who can switch on and off in an instant.

>YFW both of those other things have already happened/are happening

From all accounts that's what Ledger did, both Oldman and Eckhart confirm it too.

I hope this SS fiasco humbles his ass

blade runner was shit, there were better movies that did the whole "machines have sentience" thing

prove me wrong

Prove yourself right. Name a better movie with the same theme.

>Jared Leto is taking method acting to whole new levels in the Blade Runner reboot, and the things he does are hilarious!
>one crew member remembered a time where Leto organized all the boxes in the storage room exceptionally neatly, and then proceeded to sleep standing up for 4 hours in the same spot until his scene came up
>Leto even approached Villeneuve and requested a Voight-Kampff, which he failed!

Tyrell Corp is gonna freak!

>>Leto even approached Villeneuve and requested a Voight-Kampff, which he failed!
