You are right, if that's true. But his views are pretty damn hardcore for a former 2 term Governor. He's like 99% there. Opposing the most emotionally charged (and honestly least intrusive or bothersome) aspect of the Civil Rights Act would probably be a disqualifier for any mainstream support. It's a waste of political capital. I agree that perfectionism is unwise, I consider myself a pragmatic. Even still, modern libertarianism is limp-wristed. The fact that libertarians refuse to take a firm stance against mass immigration have made me turn away from the ideology completely. They also refuse to form any right wing coalition that would actually attract some serious support, rather they try to appeal to edgy leftists and anarchists who have literally zero influence on politics.

So now it is a white thing? I thought this was about immigration. Anyway, you seem to be saying that allowing immigration and dismantling the welfare state will shift the political paradigm. I don't think that's likely. First off a strong conservative movement has to be underway to begin with for any of this to even come close to happening, and that is hard to reverse, I don't care how many Mexicans you bring in. Second, these immigrants are not the entitlement-complexed nigger babby daddies and welfare queens that swarm our inner cities. They tend to actually work, actually at slave wage rates. They use govt' funded programs but not nearly to the extent as the blacks. Ending the programs and relying on charities and private companies would be feasible way for them to get what they need. They're escaping a 3rd world country with a corrupt restrictive government and no opportunities. If you look at the polling of these groups they're not really interested in entitlements and leaching off the system when they come here. As long a we end welfare programs and don't start rewarding them for that behavior they won't turn into a group like the blacks. A few of the conservatives I know are second gen immigrants, and they're conservative because of how hard they had to work when their families were getting established here.

It's already been proven fairly conclusively that diversity decreases inter-societal trust and there's no reason why we should support multi-racial immigration. The ones that are already here are a larger problem that will need to be fixed by segregation (which is how most societies historically dealt with the problem of diversity), fragmentation, or deportation.
