Why the fuck is youtube paying these people? It's a nigger filming his kids being infants while eating shit and playing in it. Somehow this is "family friendly". The entire thing is fucking strange

There's a reason all these "kid" channels are popping up and why they're playing ads.

Ads that cater towards kids and toys pay more. Advertisers are spending more money per click on them.

That's why you have these fucking creepy channels like Elsa & Spiderman where they pee on each other and do other shit that wouldn't be considered family friendly but hey, advertisers are paying a lot more than the advertisers who pulled out were, so they get to stay.

Why are these kids friendly channels getting so many views? That one is beyond me. I can only say every child in the suburbs having their own iPad and iPhone contributes. There's a lot more kids on the internet today and a lot more devices that allow access to it. If only when I was growing up could I use my Gameboy or SNES to connect to the internet and watch weird shit.

I actually work as an ad rater for a video streaming service. I cannot confirm that it's YouTube, understand? I would say that anything that happens in a video that you described, or the video shown in OPs pic, I would mark it as containing sensitive content. Videos like that will all become demonetized by YouTube.

Okay but I'm just explaining why YouTube monetizes them.

The ads you see are from Google AdWords or w/e the fuck they call it today. I did a lot of AdWords marketing years back and every single keyword is different. Some keywords only cost a few cents per click and some keywords cost dollars per click.

These "child friendly" videos are stuffed with keywords where advertisers are paying dollars per click and making YouTube a decent amount of coin.

So, it's going to be a lot harder to get these weird ass "toys" and "kids" channels demonetized than say a prank channel where someone uses a curse word God forbid. You can mark it away all day but money speaks louder than consistency with their rules.
