And Lemonade was lauded to hell and back. Give that a couple of decades and critics will probably look back very kindly on it too. Anyway, Hounds of Love has stellar production for it's time, Kate has outstanding vocals, and I can't think of anything that sounds like The Ninth Wave. It's just a really cool album, user. What do you think the best pop albums are?

Overall, I like pretty much every album you listed. It's weird you're not that into Hounds of Love too. Also, how the fuck is Heroes like Hounds of Love? Heroes is minimalist and HoL is pretty maximalist. The instrumentation is wildly different. The song structures are different. I don't hear it at all.
