>What are your hobbies besides music?
Other art forms, even though I don't have much idea about how to paint or write poems
I should start painting once I get bored of music

Concerned Listener, Concerned Artist is an interesting album, even though it gets a bit too repetitive. I still prefer your indie rock albums. I'm about to listen to Into The Storm.

o-one day, I'll finish my project, and share it, and I'll be loved, and successful, and rich, and happy

Wishing you luck user

Don't rely on the happiness of others but rather you being happy with it. The fall's going to be shorter

this is so nice

Damn. People loving it on RYM though.

I believe.

>QOTD
I like dogs and invest a lot of time into mine, dog parks, rescues etc. I like swimming. Want to get into snowboarding once I move this fall. Paint minis occasionally. Not an artist exactly, but I did some really weird emotional crayon art I'm oddly proud of and might use as album art. Pic related. That one's called Red Horse Winter.

wattersonjams.bandcamp.com/album/feel-good-forever

Listen if you like shoegaze and haven't yet, I guess.

Mate, it only has three ratings, nothing to jump home about

Still better than your other stuff has gotten. It's something.

Numbers are just that - numbers. The people's satisfaction is much more important than that. Not saying that those things exclude each other. Just that scores are just futile at the end

No shit. I was trying to be encouraging. My bad I guess.

Nah, I know, I'm just fucking with you, no hard feelings, alright? :^) I does not believe I am a valuable for such encouragment I feel it is a tad bit silly to try and encourage me if you know what I mean by that.

>Just listened to this to hear what the hype is about
>I realized this wouldn't even be the best indie album I ever heard in these threads.
What do you think about Car Seat Headrest and how would you compare it to the music you hear ITT?
I mean it's not bad, but it feels pretty overrated at the first listen.

I think the only better factor Car Seat has over us is the knowledge or element of appealing to the masses much more easily than us
Tbqh I couldn't finish my first listen of this release so congrats Gub

I think if Bersain had more exposure Even Oxen would be just as damn popular as CSH. Or maybe he should release more albums? The reason I can find Twin Fantasy better than the indie artists here is because he keeps the quality throughout the whole album, without being all that boring, and it's longer than Arrayed Above the Seraphim Lights

>What are your hobbies besides music?
i like to play mtg and board games, but i have no friends. also 1000s of hours in dark souls and RPG maker.

expandingsponge.bandcamp.com/album/fix
>beep boop fuckery

Even Oxen is not a person, he is a creation. Car Seat is both because of the personal will of Will (?)to truly show himself outside of music he is making while embracing himself with his art fully but not zealously. Also, geek look and personality is all the rage right now and the young seek music which apply certian amount of "cool and hip" nature. Then again popularity is a very fluent so...
Also
>Gub being not a fan boy: 0 days
:^(

he even mentioned bersain by name so why are you saying the whole "not a person/a creation" shtick

it just sounds pretentious

I did not know Even Oxen's name nor do I ever heard it inside or outside of these threads. If you pass on my words as "pretentious" then you are not far from describing my shitty personality and the fact that my English is a tad bit bollocks at times.

lel
You REALLY should check it out though, it's my favourite thing this thread has ever produced.

As much somebody tells me to check something out the more I feel like I won't like it, you know?

A special little guy aren't you

If by special you mean retarded then yes, quite

What keeps you from searching up right now and listening to the album?

You mean Oxen's one? I do not like the kind of music he is presenting on his release. I've heard too many one-sided opinions about that particular release and I don't quite like this being the case. It makes me more resent towards one's music. Never been an big fan of indie music either.
(Nice trips btw)

It's noisy psychedelic Christian folk. That's about it. Really tasteful, romantic, yet grotesque. It's like a beautiful torture.
That's what I can tell you about that album.

Got that already from you a few times, I do not need a reminder

> lo-fi, alternative rock, garage rock maybe?

I just found this guy today - I actually just emailed him like a minute ago b/c I thought it was good stuff and he was nice enough to get back to me.

thisnoisycentury.bandcamp.com/album/narrative-therapy

We told you what it is, and it's up to you to decide if you want it in your life or not, but here's some of the negatives I can bring up:
>If you don't like distorted production, don't listen to the album. It's relatively loud and saturated, even the more laid back songs. Everything you hear on that album is distorted on the treble, and it can get too much obviously
>Keep in mind it was mainly recorded with laptop built-in mics and iPhones, recorded on a low budget, there are no actual percussion instruments on the album besides a fucking water dispenser bottle, a bar seat and a tambourine.
>You might realize that it copies Neutral Milk Hotel a bit too much.
>The songs can get too repetitive.
>It's way too short, and mostly aimless, obviously not a concept album

I do appreciate those opinions indeed, 'nuff said. Seems zealousness can make the most of a man. Strange times.
