What people don't take into account is the fact that they aren't all the same genre. 1 and 4 are adventure/sci-fi films while 2 and 3 are thriller/borderline-horror films. Yeah, the T-rex in San Diego was outrageous, but the rest is seriously tense with the GOAT score for that film's mood. More fitting than the first film's, even if not as memorable.
