Imagine if the NFL worked like college, and the superbowl teams were chosen by a committee.

Would these be the teams picked, are they genuinely the best from their conference? Or would you have another team fit the bill?

Nigga the cowcucks have been relevant for one year ffs. New England would be in every year just like bama but the NFC would go to the puckers or some shit.

>LA rams vs Patriots

You have to factor in the fact that the Patriots were ranked 32nd in strength of schedule this year

I thought they were 9 and the Packers were 32.

bump

You put yourself on the most probable spot to have the 32nd SOS when you have the best record of the league.

>32nd Strength of Schedule doesn't go through the AFC South

>Selected anyway

IT'S A RIGGED SYSTEM

NFL should adopt double round robin structure and no playoffs

That's AFTER the season was over. Going in to the season they were thought to have the 9th hardest schedule.
No one was predicting the Cardinals, Rams, Bengals, Broncos and Jets to just fall off the face of the earth. And some other teams they faced; Baltimore, Seattle, Houston took a step back too.

But you can't blame a dominant team for other teams entropy and it certainly doesn't mean there is a stronger AFC team than N.E.

Chiefs faced a harder schedule and they are the No. 2 seed.

This. It's not like the Pats control who they play.

And beating every sub-par/average team is still impressive, because all other playoff teams have lost to a few shitty opponents (besides the Cowboys)

This.

Patriots statistically had an historically easy schedule this year, on top of either playing their toughest matchups either at home, or facing backup QB's on the road.

Don't be surprised when the Toxins defense shuts them down out of seemingly nowhere and they get bounced in their first playoff appearance.

If we had a committee picking four teams, it would be Packers, Cowboys, Pats, and Chiefs.

>Losing to only one team while beating the rest is somehow worse than losing to many different teams

???

You mean the same toxins that lost 27-0 in a game against Brisket? Back before everyone was hurt? And before anyone thought the patriots D was elite? good one, toxins get blown out 42-10

You'd need about 200 players on the roster to do that

...

College playoff teams aren't chosen based on being the best team. They're chosen based on which team will make them the most money without breaking the illusion that the committee is choosing the best team.

>tfw you will never eat ice cream with tom brady

pats would be in the championship every single year

I want lions and chiefs because fuck the usual suspects.

1. Patriots
2. Cowboys
3. Chiefs
4. ????
