Captain America: Civil War

Once you understand Stark represents the conservative, hetero patriarch who disapproves of Cap and Bucky's relationship, it all falls into place.

As a gay man that's watched a ton of gay romance movies, there's two that I thought were amazing:

The Way He Looks
Freier Fall

Mysterious Skin

Seeing Neil go into a public stall and show off his manwhore ad to Trachetenburg's character in a run down toilet was incredibly depressing.

When will the trend of making just about every gay movie depressing as fuck end

Have you heard Free Fall is gonna get a part 2 made?

Can't end soon enough. I want something happy.

so is this going to be a nightly thing now with you faggots?

Happy Together is the greatest

Whats kino?

And before lurk more.

Is it sad?

Yes

"Kino" is a Sup Forums meme that basically means the thing in question is pure art/the best of it's medium. Like in this case "gaykino" is talking about the absolute best gay movies.

Ben Hur. The original, not the remake. The remake wasn't bad though.

>be gay
>every hot guy is a degenerate slut that won't be exclusive
>every okay looking guy is full normie and I can't relate
>everyone else is not gay or super flamboyant pride parade anal piercing in public

Shit man, I'll watch it but I really need something that won't ruin me afterwards too

Those are all pretty gay, good movies.

Fucking millenials, everyone.

ive recently put together a list of movies with very subtle homosexual themes and are very enjoyable to watch.

you had this thread yesterday. did you not watch death in venice then

do you accept anime?

Carol is the best movie ever

Are the movies as horribly full of CGI as I remember them?

anyone who disagrees is REQUIRED to say the title of at least one other movie in their reply

>anime
>being gay ever except for Junjou Romantica and Loveless

Nigga 99% of anime is disgustingly pandered to straights with waifus all over the damn place.

There was also the DMMD and Love Stage animes but even those pandered to straights.

wait the one on the left with long, white hair isn't a woman?

Le temps qui reste

But I'm a Cheerleader

Yes unless dubs

Their relationship developed stupid fast. I get that Rooney Mara's character is still pretty much a kid with her first crush but Jesus, Carol could have shanked her on the road trip and she'd have been happy about it.

The soundtrack made me diamonds though and the cinematography was pretty good even if the constant framing of shit through windows and narrow halls/doorways got a little annoying towards the end.

oh yes. terrible cg for some battles

this is berserk nigga. pic related

nope

I prefer Olivia 1951 but that's just a personal preference for gay subtext and tragedy in a film to a actual gay film with happiness

Damn the Evil Homos trope really was a real thing I guess

Is brokeback mountain good, or just a meme?

it's good

Maybe we can be together, user?

it's a meme

It's good, but quite emotional. It's a very slow but real depiction of it's characters and plot. If you're in the mood for a more refined gay romance movie, I highly recommend it.

Sounds nice, I'll check it out then

>original UK version
>created by Russell T Davies :^)

they're both trash desu

Edge of Seventeen was not too bad,
Shelter too
it's pretty good

>Shelter
I enjoyed this one.

>Evil Homos trope

>tfw no good movies about gay greeks or romans

The Eagle was terrible but it was also accidentally really fucking homoerotic and just about the only thing like this aside from some romance subplots in Spartacus that I know of. I figured there'd be more of it given the time honored Roman tradition of railing young dudes when you don't wanna deal with your wife's shit.

>Shelter
more like, shelterED

How about this one?
Half of it is lots of metaphors and confusing shit but it's sad and enjoyable overall.
Dont watch the trailer though,it spoils the entire thing.

Can we?

Lesbians were so goddamn evil in older movies. Gay men at least got to be kind of charming and clever sometimes.

Good picks. Seconding all of these.

Law of Desire is a good one too if you like Almodovar.

I always thought that biggest difference between Evil Lesbians and Gay man was the whole who's their object of affection.

So many older movies I watch had lesbian characters wanted to control their crushes lives while acting like crazy nuts.

why are all of these sad? nigga come on

Lesbians were always kind of predatory and dangerous to the women they were around whereas gay men were defined less by actual relationships with men and instead by plain old degeneracy and moral bankruptcy.

holy shit checked

because to be gay is to be tragedy. whats the point of a happy gay movie? a romcom but with gays? boring. how about some deep human emotion only males can understand

sure we can. I'm not a degenerate nor a normie. We can relate.

Come on, Juste une question isn't sad. Try Plan B then, it's nice and comfy.

Speaking of flamboyant homos, does anyone remember the tailor in The Public Enemy?

real life is already sad enough, what's the point of saddening yourself even more with movies? i don't like crying

thanks user

GODDAMN THAT TRIP OF DUBS
SHIEET

>tfw Undertow

make it stop

>Lesbians were always kind of predatory and dangerous to the women.

There this film call Cracks which is sorta lesbian kino. I felt in that film it kinda look deeper into the predatory lesbian trope and manage to do some what sympathetic outlook of that type of character.

Oh damn I always forget about that one. Eva Green is good at crazy but I wouldn't mind her playing a lesbian that doesn't rape someone.

>asexual but not aromantic
>attracted to men but not women
why do you fags like sex so much

i'll never have someone ;_;

It's really weird film but I really liked it and Eva Green performance was great as sympathetic pedo.

Also I'm gonna sound like a nut but I think the spanish girl should just bang Eva and started a relationship with her. If you start to think about it being to nice everyone got the spanish girl killed.

>i don't like crying
nobody likes to cry. but we still watch sad movies. we still watch tragedy and betrayal and hate and despair. we also watch happy movies. romance and love and triumph. things that also bring us tears.

the host is one of my favorite movies. and its difficult for me to watch because i have lost a sibling. when it gets to the mass remembrance and the guy just starts screaming and crying because his nieces picture was there. its hard to watch. its hard to write this, im sort of welling up. it reminds me of when he died and my mom was crying her eyes out. but its still good. its good to cry or in my case, tear up. its good to let out these emotions. its good to FEEL. it reminds you that you are a faggot and a little bitch

though avoid them if you have some past trauma related to that. for the longest time i kept getting actually triggered whenever death would come up or be implied because of my brothers passing. sometimes it happened, sometimes it didnt. i remember i had to stop reading dbz because the frieza saga was fucking my shit up and i kept getting tiny panic attacks
they lasted a few seconds but that feeling of total despair, knowing that i will eventually disappear, knowing one day i will cease to be, is the most awful fucking feeling

>I think the spanish girl should just bang Eva and started a relationship with her
But she wasn't attracted to her. The entire point of the movie seemed to be to take shit like Madchen in Uniform with the schoolmistress/student relationship and show a situation where the teacher doesn't reciprocate and everything is fine (like with Juno Temple's character) and a situation where the student doesn't reciprocate and it literally ruins lives because the teacher is a literal pedo who is emotionally damaged because of the isolating experience of growing up in a school like that. The girls idolize her because she's their only frame of reference and she took advantage of that. I'm pretty sure the entire reason she gets so wet over the Spanish girl is because she's from outside of her bubble, but since the Spanish girl is more worldly she doesn't fall for Miss G like everyone else.

Then again I haven't seen that movie in years so who knows, I'm probably talking out my ass here.

Okay, gimme something to work with.

I did not expect a nice thoughtful clear reply like yours. Thank you.

>Boys Don't Cry
Fuck nah, that movie is the height of tragedy porn.

No honestly you overall got it right especially about Eva character.

The main reason why Eva wanted to jump the spanish girl bones wasn't because of some sexual attraction per say but more wanting to posssed her like something in Persona.

As for Spanish girl attraction to Eva is generally barely there but there this werid ass scenes between them where their both starring at each for other for a minute then Eva starts blushing and giggling in front of her and then Eva stops, the spanish girl leaves and the scene ends.

I'm probably looking to deep to into that scene but honestly thought there could been some attraction there.
Also Juno was a beta and the best character in the movie to.
