I broke up with my boyfriend. He's the second person I've ever been in love with, but he's been ignoring me lately for things that hardly matter. I'm finally free. He was emotionally manipulative, and one of his friends had violated me when I was younger, so I was pretty much trapped due to emotional black mail and such. I can finally go on to live life not bound by some ties in a relationship.. What should I do, Sup Forums?

I've always had thoughts of building a secret room and raising a girl in it. Telling her that its not safe or poisonous outside or some shit. Good on you OP. If you don't have any hobbies at the moment then make a list of 5-10 things you have some level of interest in and want to get into or learn. For example I'm on break for the summer so on my list of summer stuff I had fishing, learning computer science/programming stuff, learning to knit, volunteering with Food Not Bombs which I did already but wanted to keep up, cooking things other than what I usually cook, and planting/growing my own herbs. And im also going to the gym consistently now. Watching certain classic and iconic anime series is on there too but that's not as productive as the other ones. Do something similar and try to stick with it. Try to get hobbies that get you outside of the house and meeting people if you're comfortable with that. Good luck
