studies have shown that listening to music while working or studying decreases the efficency of said activity. So don't state that music helps you concentrate, because it does the opposite. Maybe you have more mood to study while listening to music, but in reality you'd be more effective if you did it in silence.

It definitely helps me, I tend to get distracted or just bored too easily if I don't have anything playing in the background. It also helps drown out any of the noise that may be coming from elsewhere in my house

I guess it's technically true, but on the other hand, it helps calm down my math anxiety. I would give up quickly a math problem if I didn't have music to motivate me. When I need the extra attention I just pause the music.
