I honestly don't get the love for Royale. I like it better now than I did 10 years ago but it still is pretty boring. The book however is great and should have been stuck to more closely. Why couldn't they play baccarat instead of poker in the movie anyways?

Nope. Baccarat is one of the most simple games I've ever seen. It's like blackjack, but rather than trying to hit 21 or as close as you can without going over, in baccarat you attempt to get a count of 11 BUT when you go over 11 the remainder is added to 0.
for example

>get a 10 dealt on top of that

I have no problem with another campbell bond, but these next ones really can't take themselves as seriously and gritty as the craig ones were.
