/BROCKHAMPTON/ general

Get in here and let's discuss the hip-hop album of the year and the next big boyband.

What's the best song?
Who is the best member and why is it Ameer?

going to be funny a month from now. nobody will care about this 6/10 album.

Maybe in 2 months when they release SATURATION II and it will possibly top this as the main HipHop AOTY contender

Literally just a worse odd future.

More like if Odd Future actually had collective talent not just Frank and Earl

It's a pretty good album, but nothing AOTY material.

Definitely not AOTY overall but I haven't heard a better rap album this year, have you?

energy > 'talent'

brockhampton is so much less exciting than OF

yeah youtube.com/watch?v=7cHDgzpJvQw

What? Did you even listen to HEAT or BUMP? Or watched the music videos?

The mexican dude ruins every song he's in

Which songs is this mexi in

Roberto? He only appears in the music video versions of the songs and on skits. Doesn't even rap

yeah, damn

The guy with the first verse on Bump and the second verse on Heat.

I don't know what the guys look like but he sounds mexican to me.

>DAMN
At least make it believable

That's Merlin, he sounds more Jamaican than Mexican but idk. I don't consider him the best either but he sure as hell doesn't ruin any tracks and offers something different.

He's in almost every song on the album, but you probably don't notice because he's only really accentuating his Patois in those two songs. He does the first verse on Swim ("I came to California..") and the first verse on Milk ("Hi, my name is Merlyn...") for some examples of his more normal voice

Shabazz Palaces

He hasn't released anything and considering Lese Majesty was pretty mediocre I'm not hyped

it leaked like a month ago but ok.

It's a lot more like Black Up if anything but more focused on instrumentalism than before. You get some of the weirder production again from Black Up but it's mixed with funky space rhythms. kinda like theesatisfaction mixed with the EPs and BU.

I agree that LM seemed uninspired.

painting pictures lil bitch

also playboi carti's self titled

Carti
DAMN

Carti is a contender but DAMN is Kendricks worst by far

someone forgot about Overly Dedicated

I was considering albums only

Bedwetter Vol 1

then fair enough.

I would personally say in terms of replay value:
GKMC>s80>UU>TPAB>DAMN>OD

In terms of content:
TPAB>s80=GKMC>DAMN>UU>OD

Fr. Why is Kelly K and New choppa so underrated

am I growing out of trap or are like half of the beats on carti not really that great?

Drop Top Wop is nice

it's better than carti and kodak

>OD
>worst

What the actual fuck?

what do you like about it then?

I really wanted to like this album.

Then I realized that they're just literal KTT drop outs who are shilling themselves to other nerds on the internet who didn't have the ambition to do the same. It's p mediocre.

dl link pls?

spotify.com

albums cool but it has like zero replay value

i fuck with gold tho, ameer and the white dude go in

so are they all gay or what

Kevin is bi. idk about anyone else

Though so too after my first or two listens but now I'm blasting it like crazy. Mostly HEAT, GOLD and MILK

fuck u ;)

S O U T H S I D E

O N E

D I R E C T I O N

you right tho ameer is the best
I'd fuck with a solo album

not getting the hype at all

they are just so ok

secret agent cody banks

I JUST GAVE MY NIGGA HEAD

cringey no matter your sexual orientation

ok

Album basically cemented my suspected homophobia. I don't give a shit, I don't ever wanna hear dudes sink about sucking off other dudes. That's fucking gay.

I still love frank tho. I play Blonde almost every night.

Tell me again why Dom isn't the best lyricist in the game rn?

Quelle Chris-Being You Is Great
Kedrick Lamar-Damn
Jonwayne-Rap Album 2
Wiley-Godfather
J.I.D.-The Never Story
The Koreatown Oddity-Finna Be Past Tense

>wiley

DROOL, bitch

>Finna Be Past Tense
I was so excited to listen to this album. All the singles from it were fantastic. And then everything else was completely forgotten the instant I finished listening to it. What made you like it so much?

I don't like it so much. Just think it was a better project than Saturation. The only one of those albums I really enjoyed was Quelle Chris'

>Jonwayne-Rap Album 2
>Kedrick Lamar-Damn
>Wiley-Godfather
please leave

if you don't think Godfather is dope then there is something wrong with you.

They're all better as albums. I thought all the singles for saturation were great. Didn't like much else outside of Bump and Milk on the album though. Way too much autotune and drawn out songs that should've ended 2 minutes earlier.

Godfather was boring. I do believe I am mentally intact though.

They're not bad albums, but to believe they're better than BROCKHAMPTON is delusional. That being said though I can see where you're coming from with the autotune and drawn out song structure as this has clear and present influences to Frank Ocean and 808s and Heartbreak.

This

soon come.

>boring
well then you are lost, anakin

...

Is saturation 2 really coming
Tell me its tru

dude come on carti is so bad lol

if only he rapped more on it. man wearing a helmet and stoop lights are excellent

Reminds me of a book
