Wants a girl with tattoos who tried to play guitar but never practiced so she can only play smoke on the water on the E string awkwardly, wants to get married and be comfy

introverted brunette barista, just wants to see where it's going

someone who likes movies and the simpsons. Into long term dating but not marriage

tall qt who likes sports and outdoors, just wants a companion.

forgot collage :(

...

OK Computer clicked, and then everything onwards started clicking. It was odd.

Hi pop, probably wants a boyfriend.
Wants a girlfriend with tattoos with a love for books.
Wants a girlfriend that will cuddle with you under a cozy blanket in cold autumn nights.
Wants a girlfriend who "wants to live" and generally tends to do a lot of stuff on her own, without any care for stereotypical gender roles.
Wants a girlfriend that will do everything for him. Lazyfag.
Wants a girlfriend that prefers to travel by train than by plane.

>he needed OKC to "click"
this is a joke right?

pshh you're damn right. do you know how much nicer and easier it is to travel by train??

Someone who smokes weed and has a few piercings but not too many to make them ugly.

I mean, it went from being a fairly solid album to being a 10/10 album IMO, and the odd thing about it was that after it clicked then Kid A and Amnesiac clicked, and Hail to the Thief clicked today.

Why can't I stop listening to Silent Alarm holy fuck
Anyway recs appreciated

You might enjoy Open Mike Eagle
How is that Xiu Xiu album?

A Sunny Day In Glasgow - Sea When Absent

Medulla is the best Bjork album
Maybe check out YMO if you like Depeche Mode I suppose

I don't have any good recs for this but XO is Elliott's best by far gj

Feel like I've seen you post in these threads a few times, I recognize Pere Ubu and Lizzy
If you haven't heard it already Mambo Nassau is even better than Press Color imo
What's your favorite post-punk album? I'm getting more into the genre lately and I could use some good recs if you have any

I am depressed

at least you like good music

I think travelling by plane is more versatile and overall useful and efficient, but trains are far comfier and there's far less bureaucracy.

>I think travelling by plane is more versatile and overall useful and efficient

well that much is obvious. I'm just saying the experience of taking a train is much better, especially in Europe where the airports and staff are awful, but the train attendants and employees are 10/10 total bros.

Yeah, as I said it's far comfier to travel by train, plus your ears don't get fucked up so you can actually listen to music.

a girl that's also depressed

a girl to get drunk with

a girl that owns a synth

a sad girl who's into poetry

a girl that plays guitar and owns a ton of effects peddles

ideal gf is rufus

>peddles
new shabazz leaked if you haven't listened. dope af and a lot better than LM.

>Feel like I've seen you post in these threads a few times
You probably have, i don't have much else to do with my time
My favorite post-punk album is probably either Marquee Moon or The Modern Dance
For some slightly less baby-tier recs:
Family Fodder - Monkey Banana Kitchen
Au Pairs - Playing With a Different Sex
Chrome - Half Machine Lip Moves
Rip Rig + Panic - God
Siouxsie And the Banshees - Juju
The first three Public Image Ldt. albums
Gang of Four - Entertainment

...

Yeah I saw that it leaked, I've been meaning to listen but glad to hear that it's good. Lese Majesty was okay but definitely not as good as Black Up. I'll check it out.

Right on, thanks. I've been meaning to check out Flowers of Romance and Half Machine Lip Moves especially.

You may have already heard them but I really dig Life Without Buildings - Any Other City and Colin Newman's solo album A-Z if you're interested

bumb

bumble bee haha

please gib recs, the ideal partner for me is a clone of myself.

The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band - Part One
Six Organs of Admittance - Dark Noontide
also Nothing's far superior 2nd album, if you haven't already heard it
dalek - Negro Necro Nekros
i rec you make a collage that isn't this fucking small
how's the new Phoenix album? the single was pretty forgettable imo
Battles - Mirrorred
'O'rang - Herd of Instinct
is Big Thief any good?

Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger - Midnight Sun
Claypool Lennon Delirium - Monolith
Meg Baird - Don't Weigh
Espers

>The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band - Part One
good album, a child's guide to good and evil is their best though imo

morgen - s/t

Espers seems pretty interesting. I've had good luck with lot of Philadelphia-based acts in the past so that's a good sign.

I can't say i'm the hugest fan of the OG Lennon so i can't say i would've had much desire to check out his son's projects given that i've been told they sound a lot alike.

>inb4 but you have tame impala on your collage

tame impala > john lennon
not even b8ing

Imagine waking up every morning and being this guy every time

i think that git me laid comparing tame impala to lennon

>liking corporate psych

>shitpost reply to no one

...

kys

no, this one has been clear of anime bullshit.

a) who is rufus?
b) what's that album with the 20th century boys(?) cover? (dead guy being kneeled over) (been meaning to ask for a while)

Self-destructive punk af gf to help you grow out of such grrrls(?)

BWANA CAPSULES PRIDE

RUFUS GOD

...

>someone who will never leave you and support you and always take you as you are.
I yearn for this

>not tall with glasses
I'm 6'0 but I wear reading glasses so I guess you're not exactly wrong

I'm going to be a rebel and post a 5x5 because I already had it saved.

++No Now, Echoing Green
+Peasant
What did you think of Echoing Green and Peasant? Both in my AOTYSF list.

++DMST, Bark Psychosis
Thoughts on that new Ride and the Ambrose Akinmusire? Both waiting in my backcatalogue.

++Chairs Missing, TNSG, BSS
+A-Z
~154, still never been able to get through that one

Ayyy, another person with Vashti Bunyan! ++ Feel better user.

>154, still never been able to get through that one
Yeah to be honest a lot of the weirder/more atmospheric cuts from that one are still tough to wrap my head around. The rest make it worth it though so hopefully it'll make sense the more I listen. I could see it becoming my favorite of theirs with time, Chairs Missing is amazing but 154 genuinely doesn't sound like anything else I've ever heard

Good call on TNSG, if you like that check out Ought's Sun Coming Down. Listened to it last night, dudes obviously listened to a lot of The Fall but it's still pretty awesome. They're coming through my city in a few months I think
How's that Jefre Cantu-Ledesma compared to his others?

I will definitely check out that Ought album. I really liked the album before that one, so idrk why I haven't checked out Sun Coming Down yet.

I really like Echoing Green a lot personally, probably in my top 10 from this year so far, but this is the album that introduced me to him, so I haven't heard anything else of his to compare it to. Got A Year with 13 Moons queued up to listen to soon since I liked this release so much though. I will say that if this IS a weaker album of his, his other stuff must be incredible.

Oh, and also, the second track off of Echoing Green is probably my favorite track of this year so far. Really great.

I think you'd enjoy Mathew Dear.

If you enjoyed Gambino's new album you'll love D'angelo's Black Messiah. More organic/ acoustic sounding and definitely inspired "Awaken, My Love!"

You learned to play a wind instrument at a young age but only occasionally practice nowadays. You are not in control of your life and act on impulse.

you ride bicycles everywhere you go
you're either sexually frustrated male or eclectic female
you spend too long picking out an outfit
your a sucker for nostalgia due to the reality of adulthood crashing in
youre well groomed with a qt gf and decent job
you value having fun more than a thirst for knowledge and growth
you hate high school but cant stop thinking about it

>youre well groomed with a qt gf and decent job
Where on Earth did that conclusion come from?
+What's Going On, Remain in Light, RDJA

because I have those qualities and I adore nearly every single album on your chart

I'm flattered, but I don't have a girlfriend. The job I've got is decent but it's mostly to pay rent and stuff during college, it's more enjoyable because of my manager. Well-groomed... not quite.

>I adore nearly every single album on your chart
Even Little Busters? If I had to pick one that is my favorite in the chart it'd probably be that one.

u want a qt hipster gf who works at a record store
wow me too thanks
+fugazi, mac d, nick drake, american football
+miles davis, thelonious monk
likes rainy days and long car rides
+silent hill 2 ost
+tom waits, madvillain, nmh, radiohead, gorillaz

>qt hipster gf who works at a record store
The only girl I know who fit that description was the only girl I've ever really had a crush for, spot on there. Add in "nerd" in there too and it fits her to a T. She was slightly autistic too but honestly that kinda made her cuter in a way.
