8: if something looks suspect, google it before responding. You might actually be a victim of bait and switch.
9: Speaking of google, don't ask for the source of an image; there's a drop down arrow right next to a post at the top of it, it'll give you the option to google image search. If you don't find what you're looking for, then ask.
10: Don't respond to the Andy Sixx posters, no one likes those people and they're just trying really hard to force their joke.

19: Bumping refers to influencing the page the thread is on. The higher the page number, the more likely the thread will get deleted because threads are not permanent and get discarded when inactive. Bumping simply means you bring the thread closer to page one and keep it from being deleted just by posting. Be careful though, all threads have a post limit.
20: Posting "Sage" in the options field means your post doesn't bump your thread. No, it isn't a downvote, it just means your replies don't keep the thread active.

Image limits refer to how many pictures you can post in a thread, pic related shows how many posts and photos are left before the max limit, as well as number of posters in the thread. Bump limits is the max amount of replies a thread can have, which is 300. After 300 you can keep posting but the thread will very soon get deleted. Unlike the bump limit though, once the image one is reached, Sup Forums will not let anyone post more to the thread. Just scroll to the bottom to see it.
See those numbers next to every post? If the very end numbers are the same then you call those gets, because you got repeating digits.
Dubs and trips are quantifiers of digits, so if a post ends in "55" then you have dubs, if it ends in "111" you have trips. It keeps going up to quads to quints and so on. The higher the number, the rarer the digits.
