BANDCAMP THREADO THE SECOND

The last one won't be going for long.
Let's do the same shit we did last time but actually even better.
Reduce the number of shills by not responding to them and giving jack shit about them.

Okay I'll post in this one too

New album coming out probably next month, it's a bit more ambitious. Leaving feedback for whatever looks interesting that I haven't heard before.

Why do we have a second one though? I'm confused.

I suppose.

I'm off for now, don't waste this thread!

Jesus...
Actually, it's only an artwork.

Any hints on the new direction?
Excited for the realease!

Shoutout to jakeorluca.bandcamp.com/ who hasn't posted here yet but made a very cute and natural sounding album. I like the talking in between tracks, authentic bedroom.

I'll rec on:
Kept revisiting Summer Drones, listening to The Anthill rn. Started strong, Small Dangers sadly didn't draw me in after two minutes, Small Adventures is nice too. I like how experimental this is, and a lot more digestable than Summer Drones. Downloading now.

Returning feedback, here's hoping for less shillin.

Enough!

still upset you aren't making music btw
came back to this a little bit ago and still couldn't get into it. Like, it's not traditionally "bad" and it goes out of its way to be interesting, but something isn't clicking. Maybe the authenticity?

svccy.bandcamp.com/album/hidden-horizon

>Synthwave
>Experimental

Posting Svccy's new album since he is nowhere around.

This is okay, I only really have grievances with the mixing. There is A LOT of low end in things I wouldn't really expect to have much bass in them, experiment with EQing out the parts of sounds that do nothing except muddy up the track. That advice is pretty vague but I'm not that great at mixing myself.

reccs:

For what I listened it's raw and kinda lo-fi. Nice guitar work. Basic drums, but they work nicely. Too busy at times. Listening on phone and half sleep, don't take me too seriously.

...

I like how the track develops. You could definitely keep someone entertained for a whole album.

Nice track you got there! Relaxing.
SC thread always dies young. There's no interaction past an hour. :c

Shitty design, I can't even read it. >:c

Yeah, he's just been spammin that link for a while I think (haven't checked here much lately), not going to put in the effort to look if he can't even be assed to post the link so we don't have to type it out.

Is this good? It's been around since December and I'm starting to give up on it.

Posted this in the last thread but i was the last post so ill repost. I was skeptical until I heard the second song. You achieved a really great emotional landscape despite the rawness of it. In fact the rawness adds to it. Its like you're playing in a huge concert hall and there's only one person in the audience. And that is the listener.

Listen to my latest EP:
sierra811.bandcamp.com/album/jeremiah-33-3

>lo-fi boom bap
>old school dubstep influence
>lots of plunderphonics

it was pretty good altho at one point it kinda becomes a bit monotonous and repetitive in the last two tracks, losing the catchiness of the very first songs, i0d give it a 6/10

reminds me of an indie game soundtrack made by mogwai young team, sounds great and unintrusive, perfect background music to read a book to.
7/10

this is very lovely, well arranged and well mixed (as far as my mixing knowledge goes) definetely one of my favorite things from this thread

Since there are many threads to come and I have literally dozens of releases since I've been making "music" since 2005, I shall link a different one each thread.

morpheuslunae.bandcamp.com/album/the-noise-2005-2006

>noise, very digital and unprofessional

I started making music back in the day and just wanted to destroy it. I was not in the best place then. I had made drawings and paintings and also written a good amount but never made music. I did have friends who made music so I always wanted some shock value but of course I didn't know yet how to achieve it. My first release was very chaotic, ironic and really bad. I got more refined the more things I tried.
Noise 2005-2006 has a selection of my first four albums. I did not make them available yet again but it's a goal on Patreon since I want to make proper releases with bonus material and all that jazz. I still listen to my old music from time to time. There are neat things in there my young self knew that I don't know anymore today. I actually don't really know how I made particular songs. For some I still have the original FL Studio 4 files but some of the tracks I made without FL.

Mah bois.

I'll listen to this.

me

Pretty good stuff, I listened yesterday actually. Unfortunately, knowing your other album, you can definitely tell this is the B-sides. Just not as strong. Super excited for the new album you mentioned at the end of summer though!

New album cover is much better btw.

Listening to Roadkill right now. First track was cool, second is absolutely killer. I'm seeing big time Lil Ugly influence, yeah? This is so good, downloaded. Production on the third track is nice as hell. What all are you doing on this album?

Also, rec'ing this. No idea how I missed it last time.

>Imagine yourself at 2 am on petit tube, randomly searching all kinds of garbage videos people posted recently on youtube with nothing else better to do, the more videos you click the more you start to feel dizzy and hypnotized by the screen, you dont even pay attention to what you are watching, every sound at this point is completely interwined with each other and the screen is just a mass of random colors on a square sorrounded by pure darkness.

you bet, i actually made a deep internet album but its now private.

guess ill publish it cause why not, it aint that special tho.

Deep internet was never about being special. It was about diving into the lives of others and finding the mundane and sometimes the beautiful in there. It was about the person finding the videos and then making something out of it.
Well, at least that's what it was for me.

Sounds intense dude.
I like the juxtaposition of the calm pianos with the crazy saxes

Thanks! It was an issue due to the amount of reverb they had. Gonna be clearer for the album version, thought!

thanks thats what i was going for

I have to say rust really feels Rust feels like degradation. im guessing the whole album is about destruction? If so you did it quite well with rust so far.

happy birthday!

Very relaxing Im really enjoying all the tracks They keep you listening not like some other chill tracks that just are background.

I did use themes of degradation as an influence for my album. Thanks!

eerie cacophony

reccin my boy the ambient king
how do you manage to gay up BoC?
lush, fucking amazing
except for the vocals
my boy Sebaastian makes badass and surely depressive piano-driven music. Check his albums out!
yay Svccy is back, and thankfully this new album doesn't svcc, the kick is really beefy and the synths sound good
I downloaded your album and tried putting the 3 songs into one if it makes more sense. It certainly is better, but still wasn't worth downloading for this.
I already told ya about my opinion, good music with potential
Better than Tangible Rays TBQHWYFAM
It surely sounds digital, but the soundscapes are really interesting, not boring at all

you're creating a bit too much of a hype for your jangle pop album don't you think?

only listened 'summer drones' which matches the title perfectly. like the guitar at opening. nice blend of instruments and moods. well done.
looking forward to hearing your new album.

nice ep. sounds a bit too midi to me. but i enjoyed it

Thank you very much! It feels good to get comments like this after such a tough week.
