>Did you do a lot of research into the world of white supremacists before filming Imperium? >Radcliffe: Yeah, quite a bit. I watched a few documentaries. Spent some time reading message boards of some white supremacy groups.
>Did you post on those message boards? >I did not! No, absolutely not. I didn’t want to get into that. But it was more about getting a sense of how the non-intellectual elite of the movement talk to each other and talk about things. The biggest insight it gave me was the extent to which everything is [believed to be] a fucking part of this global conspiracy.
>What surprised you about that world? >How diverse—diverse is a strange word to use—but how diverse the beliefs were. One must be incredibly naive to think that all the worlds white supremacists are exactly the same.
Also curious how he defines white supermacist. Voting for ukip and brexit probably automatically puts you in that camp in his mind.

I have dismissed those claims.

Christianity, Islam and Judaism are the most destructive and anti-intellectual religions. True Europeans should be in touch with their pagan roots while accepting scientific knowledge over inane superstition.

This is ironic, since a key tenant of national socialism was social responsibility. Mindless consumerism as Trump espouses is exactly what Hitler was trying to prevent.

I'll never understand how Americuck Democrats are so vividly opposed to the idea of asking for an ID to vote.

Blake James
Since they want those people voting user, and you are a racists if you think a ID should be needed.

Completely false, the Greeks and Romans advanced science, civics, philosophy and technology tremendously. The Christians invaded and brought us down for hundreds of years. Advancement continued in spite of Christianity, not because of it.
Most of the scientific community are not religious, those who are, are moderates who are generally part of it for the community. I'm not a fedora tipper, I acknowledge that there are many benefits to Christianity in Europe, such as morality, community and encouraging thoughtfulness. Christianity is preferable to mindless hedonism (modern hedonism rather than hedonism as it was in Greek times, which was actually about living a simple life subsisting on the pure necessities).
For Europe to advance to the next stage of its development, it is necessary to find some rational philosophy which includes morality and discourages rabid individualism.
Josiah Jones

Trump is an anti-intellectual climate-change denier. True national socialists have a respect for their land and environment. Trump cares only for the "freedom" to pursue material wealth, he does not care for the advancement of technology. It shows since his investments are in hotels, golf courses and casinos, rather than new technology.
Eli White
That's the funny thing, his policies on economic issues are more left-wing than most republicans. On a personal level he seems to, but everything he's said does not support the idea that he's putting no taxes on the rich and doesn't care about poor people.
Jayden Ward

>letting the Muslims, the people who tried to kill and rape your ancestors, in
I thought I made it clear that I oppose all Abrahamic religions. I don't espouse paganism beyond studying it as a mythology. I don't care about what my ancestors believed, they were uneducated slaves.
Henry Scott
this.

How are these two statements related? He clearly stated that Islam, Christianity and Judaism should be rejected and that European paganism should be studied.
Evan Morris
>What are Jews up to in fucking Central Asia?
lol, I love how you just assume that they're up to something. What are Italians up to in New York?
Brandon Jones
But wouldn't you say that Christianity discouraged rabid individualism and it was the ability for people to pursue their goals independently that lead the the flourishing of Rome and Greece? I mean look at Diogenes, he jacked off in public and pissed on people, but now he's a classical philosopher who's studied in school. Of course there were laws and such, but everyone was far freer than under feudalism.
Evan Carter
no one really knows what Donald Trump stands for(possibly not even him), the sad thing is we know what HRC stands for and it is so bad that the devil we don't know looks good by comparison.

Why are Sup Forumsposters so low-IQ? The guy didn't even make any value judgments, he said it's a common conspiracy theory among white supremacists, which is simply true. Calling it a conspiracy theory doesn't mean he believes it's either real or fiction, it's devoid of a value judgment you complete monkey.
>I bet using these buzzwords makes you feel all smart and secure >>doesn't it >>tumblrite >>SJW >>shitlib
This is fucking ridiculous lmao.
Logan Hernandez
>the Christians invaded
The Romans converted to Christianity and then spread it around Europe. You're making it sound like some Christian horde sailed on up to Rome in 5 AD and set the whole place on fire.
The Church also played an instrumental role in preserving knowledge that would have otherwise been lost, which prevented the world from regressing technologically. There were several periods (like immediately after the fall of the WRE and during the Byzantine "dark age" in the 8th century) when thousands of important manuscripts could have been lost, but were saved because monks painstakingly copied them down over and over again. The idea that the "christians brought us down" is complete bullshit pushed by fedora-tipping atheists on the internet.
Nathaniel Hall
I don't think they'd believe that you were being sincere, imagine the insane self-esteem issues you would need to believe in white supremacy as a brown person.
I believe that there is a balance to be struck between individualism and social responsibility. Unfortunately the "alt-right" doesn't see this, they would rather deny climate change and spit on the poor. They call themselves "red pilled" when in reality they're just mindless consumerists, just like their corporate masters want them to be.
Christianity in the middle ages was a powerful hierarchical structure that served a political elite. Nowadays it's merely a powerful political lobby, the Christian Right in America has stripped away the anti-consumerist elements, but in Europe the Christian lobby is still conscious of social responsibility and charity.
Blake Richardson
Hi Chaim
David Thomas
>The Christians invaded and brought us down for hundreds of years
The Romans were Christian though, thanks to emperors like Constantine.
Michael Long
The Christians also burned the library of Alexandria and burned people for having scary new ideas.
Is it any coincidence that Rome fell after converting to Christianity?
Jeremiah Perry
Well I'm just going by what he's said on policies so far. As far as what he actually thinks, who knows, and his economics could change but so far he has not been far right at all with them.
Isaiah Scott
yeah, he is claiming to be less pro-'business' than the average republican(imo he isn't a republican, which is a point in his favor), but were are gonna have to elect him to find out what he really is.
Xavier Ross
I remember reading something about some mullato neo-Nazi terrorist from Croatia or something.
Logan Morales
Yeah I think there's a balance too, I get what you mean. I generally think it's best to bring people to morality through debate and discussion rather than authoritarian laws though.
Sebastian Richardson
He has shown through his own actions that his idea of "freedom" and "prosperity" is that wealthy oligarchs have the freedom to pursue personal wealth without any restrictions. He doesn't care about the advancement of technology or a more equitable society. National socialist ideals were about these two ideals. If only modern national socialists would understand that racial battles were not the only ideals espoused by Hitler.
Jeremiah Parker
>but in Europe the Christian lobby is still conscious of social responsibility and charity
Catholic Charities USA (run, unsurprisingly, by the Catholic Church) is the 5th-largest charitable organization in the country. Many protestant churches do a lot of charity work too. And you're deluding yourself if you think that the Christian Right in Europe doesn't have political goals too. For example, the Catholic Church spent a lot of time fighting against gay marriage in Italy, and they're the main reason it was only recently made legal.
Levi Peterson
Trump like most Americans isn't ideological.
Adrian Stewart
There have also been Russian Jewish neo-Nazis from Israel
Carson Clark
and who is this guy?
Liam Garcia
>If only modern national socialists would understand that racial battles were not the only ideals espoused by Hitler. that well was poisoned long ago by government and hollywood propaganda
Oliver Wright
>he might do a little good, but I don't think he will fix much This basically

>The Christians also burned the library of Alexandria
The library of Alexandria was partially burned by Caesar (a pagan) in the 1st century BC and finally destroyed by Muslims in the 7th century.
>and burned people for having scary new ideas.
So did everyone else back then. It was a savage time.
>Is it any coincidence that Rome fell after converting to Christianity?
Yes, it's definitely a coincidence. Unless you're implying that the existence of Christianity caused economic decline, a string of incompetent emperors, simple misfortune, and made barbarians more powerful. And the Empire as a whole survived until 1453, more than 1000 years after converting to Christianity.
Anthony Jones
Of course not. Just like you're not automatically a stalinist gommie who hates white people if you vote democrat.
Logan Cox
>If only modern national socialists would understand that racial battles were not the only ideals espoused by Hitler.
You're right, he also believed in the merits of dictatorship, expansionism, mass murder, and the complete subservience of the national economy to the military even in peacetime.
Parker White
>Byzantium >Roman

>And the Empire as a whole survived until 1453 1806*

If it was literally anyone but Trump they'd be like 40% up in the polls right now, everyone just hates Hillary so much that him not doing anything bad is good enough to vote for him.
Luis Myers
>1806
The HRE doesn't count. It wasn't even an empire.
Carson Cooper
Byzantine doesn't count either
Owen Flores
I think that's why the Republicans were so desperate to nominate somebody else. Practically any of the other Republican candidates (except maybe Fiorina, Carson, and Christie) would have a 10 point lead in the polls right now. Rubio would be 20 points up.
Carter Fisher
>Holy >Roman >Empire Voltaire.jpg
Aaron Richardson
I don't know about that, I think every other candidate the republicans put up was awful.
Julian King
>Also curious how he defines white supermacist. probably the people who post to the white supermacy forums he visited I kinda like how you immediately projected on him this much
Jaxson Rodriguez
Carson would do well, I kind of liked him. He's not a good speaker or anything, but he's very likeable and honest which I think is all anyone needs to beat Hillary.
Fiorina was pretty shitty, but she is a woman, so she'd have the "I'm voting for Hillary because we need a woman president even though I hate her" vote.
Christie might not do very well, yeah.
Austin Bell
Why does this movie offend Neckbeards so bad?
Josiah Bailey
Of course it counts. There's direct continuity from the original Roman Emperors, the basic structure and political system of the empire was maintained, the religious hierarchy was maintained (although power obviously started to shift to Constantinople), and it was still a single entity. The HRE, on the other hand, was just an association of central European states with no connection to Rome whatsoever, other than Pope Leo crowning a Frankish king "Emperor".
Lucas Morgan
Pointing out that Europe, and the civilization it built on, is Christian.
Hunter Ortiz
Honestly one of hte dumbest theories i've seen.
The Jews hate Christianity and have hated it literally since they murdered Christ, then persecuted and murdered his followers until they lost all power in the diaspora.
Today all the 'atheist' television personalities are Jewish. Pic related.
Lawrence Krauss and Sam Harris and all of the other anti-christian meme scientists are Jewish.
Hollywood hires Jewish writers who write the 'evil priest' trope. See Spotlight.
The theory that Jews control Christianity is absurd. History is full of Christians 'being ever on their guard' against Jews because wherever they go they seek to undermine it.
Asher Davis
I liked Kasich well enough, somewhat bland but he seemed very reasonable and qualified. Rand was good policy-wise in my opinion, but I do think he's literally a bit autistic, so he did terribly at public speaking and debates.
Colton Turner
Because they have severe self esteem issues, up to the point where the only thing they have going for them is their skin color. So if you depict white supremacists as bad people, they get very upset.
Oliver Campbell

>probably the people who post to the white supermacy forums he visited And what's a white supremacy forum for him? Sup Forums? and everyone who posts there by association is a white supremacist?
>I kinda like how you immediately projected on him this much Well I guess I could've waited half an hour and still not have any more information except for the little info he's given if the immediacy was the problem.
I'm not sure I see how that is projection, and how that would even be much. Good thing you like it though. Projection in psychology would be me attributing something in me to someone else, and I don't see how that makes sense in this context, are you saying I deep down see all ukip voters as racists? I'm not a psychologist though, but I guess you are so you can probably enlighten me.
