What's Sup Forums's job? I'm a school teacher, but I'm not diggin it. Looking for some ideas on a career change.

Work in a marketing agency and want to be a teacher. No joke.

I was a teacher, and started working at a marketing agency - now I want to be a nurse.

I am a nurse. I want to be a doctor and am going to school for it.

I'm a nurse but want to work at a marketing agency.

I teach at a medical school but I've always wanted to teach at a marketing agency.

I do marketing for a hospital, but I've always wanted to do marketing for a teacher's union

Become a pedo and diddle your students

while some of you guys are here, what are somethings to that would help me get a job?

You could snort women's poop on live television.
Bet you didn't think of that.

Idk what to either study something or just get a job. Tried the medical field but didn't like it much.

Good references
Positive attitude

Graphic design, wait you are a teacher, unless you are an art teacher that is out of the question. Try pilot training it's pretty good. I am an Architect and I'd recommend it, I am journalled and am Making 157k/year but, I had to go to school for an extra 5 years, the school is not recommended.

Scenic pilot. It's fun

pro chef. i never went to culinary school, I know next to nothing about cooking and I've been doing this for the last six months.
no one has caught on. or at least no one has said anyhing yet

im a clerk at a convenience store. but i long to join my brothers in valhalla

I'm a lawyer

Same.

I bet we both dream of something else. Lawyer's job is BORING.
(IP/ International contract law btw.. which sounds interesting.. it isn't. also you can't earn shit in Eastern Europe. I would literally be MUCH, MUCH better off peeling fishes in Iceland than being a lawyer here)

Fellow architect. Name? Like really you are making 3x my salary! How old are you? I must know, I am 34 and I make so much less. Please tell me.

Work at a gunshop while I go to school to "study" ,echanical engineering.

"study" means secretly scouting the school?

Art therapist.

I have old people paint so they do not lose their ability to use their fucking fingers. Sucks but pays well.

nah I'm failing and am too chicken shit to tell my parents that I'm failing. but I truly love my part time gig. I get to play with toys of my hobby and I like everyone including my boss.

>wage slave cuck

I've been doing flash animation since 2003 as a hobby though, getting ready to boot up a website and a patreon by the end of the month though.

I don't like my odds

At least you got DUBS.... Probably a state / country thing. Not that user btw.

I was in sales/marketing.

Now I'm working with my father doing handy man work and finish work. I like it but I'm trying to go into the Army through OCS (Officer candidate school). Process has been slow and since it's peace time they are knit picking everything about me. If it takes them past 2017 to get me in I'm seriously considering flying to France and joining the legion.
Either that or try to establish my fathers work as a legitimate business.

I am user, and exactly that Anonymous. I am 30, I got lucky and acquired my dad's firm, but if you make your own firm you will be as successful.
Not state or country, personal firm owner.

so... do what you like, instead of wasting years of doing something you hate.
95% of people fall into this trap of trying to be someone they are not (me included) till they have spent 10 years on profession where they have no perspective.

be a gun expert

heck, if I just did unskilled jobs for 10 years and invested I'd be by far richer now.

there is literally no "right way" in life. Noone knows what's next big thing. People probably thoguht computer developers in the beginning were idiots without perspective.

oh yeah? show us some of your work

i'm "the IT guy" it would be nice to know what the fuck do I really want to do.

I was a nurse. Now i'm a cook or something.

Who gives a shit it's just money... right!

I am a mechanic
I am the guy that handles most of the IT stuff at my job
I use shovels, weed wackers, chain saws, and tools so big your little girly arms would break trying to use them.
I operate a backhoe when I need too.
The world is going to fall apart because most of you children think that your bullshit professions are contributing to keeping this country running.

Like marine biology
> Terrified of the ocean
> I think sea monsters could exist and they could we just haven't found them yet

I hate people like you. As a fellow manual labor guy dudes like you make us look like retarded fucking mongrel apes.

You are just as bad as vets who get offended at everything that isn't "MERICAN".

Anyone can do manual labor. But can you do craftsmanship? Can you make art out of your work? If not you are just another monkey with a wrench. And there's nothing wrong with that, but don't pretend it's anything but.
Manual labor jobs bring is serious dosh and its respectable and fulfilling. You don't need to prove yourself to a guy working in an office.

...

whats that brown girl from? keep forgetting

used to be a lifeguard at the mattress outlet, took becoming a crane operator to get me out.

kek, a monkey could do your work and robots WILL do it soon enough.

>inb4 - most of teenagers will state that they are engineers earning 60k/year which is shit money in their opinion

I just work as a machine operator in food packaging factory. Sounds like shit but I can't imagine any other job, in which I can just sit on my ass for 10 hours straight doing nothing and get paid $15/h

el dorado
good flick

Engineer on a ship. Working 14/21 days on/off

merchant marine?

>Calls teacher wage slave cuck
>I've been doing flash animation for 14 fucking years as a hobby
>I am PLANNING to set up an account on Patreon

Thanks for a good laugh mate

Craftsmanship? Sculpture, art, carpentry, whatever. Video and photography for fun. Probably could make more doing that shit then "manual labor". I choose to spend my day outside in the field rather than in an office. If monkeys want to do my job then fine. I would rather work along side them then some easily offended child who needs a safe space when they find out that the real world is not as easy as living at home with mommy and daddy

Medical technologist

thanks bro

Sell pornography.

Carbonfibre high speed craft, in Bergen, Norway. About $56k last year.

My issue is with the insecurity of it. So many guys I know who need to constantly validate themselves and put others down. "Bro I'm an electrician, I get down and dirty and do real AMERICAN work, not like those pansies typing out reports like a bunch of women lol".

If you like it fine, I enjoy what I do too, I build and mold and carve wood into fine furniture, cabinets, bars and tons of other handyman stuff. But I don't need to wear jeans and listen to country music or act like a tough guy about it.

How'd you get into it? Here in the states there's obviously different routes but the most popular is maritime academy or merchant marine.

I admit that I dont care much for the redneck mentality alot of my friends display on a regular basis. I just get freaked out by the people that dont want to get dirty or think that physical labor is beneath them. There are a lot of good jobs out there that need people that get off on a sense of accomplishment, and robots and monkeys cant do everything. Why would we want them too.
