ITT: 80's and 90's nostalgia kino

I loved the Goonies as a kid, and decided to watch it when I was older again. I could not fucking stand it. Turned it off after 20 minutes, deciding it would be better to keep it as a good memory.

The 80's setting, the Super cool interiors of the alien ship, early CG, Pee Wee Herman as the voice of MAX, Sarah Jessica Parker with purple hair, pure 80's kino

Shit taste

Pure kino

Does Sup Forums like the first or second movie better?

I don't know what it is. Maybe (probably) should've kept watching

Nostalgic for me, but also a legit great movie. It's full of quotable lines.

He's right. Nostalgia for a shit sandwich, still makes it a shit sandwich.

The Goonies was always shit. I truly don't understand the praise it receives.

The first is obviously a better written movie, but I love the second for how straight-up murderous his "traps" are.

>throw five bricks from the top of a building into someone's face
>light the rope on fire when people are climbing it three stories up

I always remember watching this with my sibling around Halloween. Didn't even know it was from Peter Jackson until years after the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space

What the fuck kind of parents let their kids watch that?

...

I was just about to post Back to the Future.
How long until they remake the trilogy, like Ghostbusters?
Fucked up my spoiler

>Living a sheltered childhood

YES

There's "you can watch R-rated stuff" and then there's "you can watch arguably the goriest movie EVER MADE".

Kiefer Sutherland, Steven Siegal, Val Kilmer, Danny McBride
