Yes.
Expect this record to go unbroken for the next 50 years.

>greatest player you ever produce is Wayne Rooney
Fucking legend. I remember when he scored a hattrick on debut in the UCL. He really is a the GOAT English player.
I thought Sup Forums Rooney hate was ironic?
Surely anyone with half a brain realises this.
He has like 5 more years than the others.
Kids on here only hate on him because he is about 40% of that player that he used to be. I can't blame them for thinking he is shit, since he used to be so fucking good.
Even as a loyal ABU, I must admit that Rooney in his prime was amazing, one of the top five players in the world around 2008/09. I still remember that debut goal he scored (against Arsenal?) for Everton and just knew that he was going to be a star.
He's declined over the past few years, but I think that it is just as much down to mentality as physicality, as he still has good strength and usage of the ball. But without someone like Ferguson to motivate him and without his previous pace, he's lost something important, especially his agressiveness which he had as a youth.
Still think he looks like a Goblin.
He's not the greatest player we've had but he certainly gets more criticism than he deserves. The media and fans have been spoilt into thinking that players like Messi and Ronaldo are the norm and a player's peak is suppose to last their entire career. Rooney was very good in his peak so the media expected him to carry on like that unil he retired. Obviously he wasn't able to do so and combined with some dissapointing exits from international competitions, the media have turned against him.
I know right? What a GOAT
He's unironically the GOAT and when you are here for long enough you will realise that rating him is a high test.
He's not even top 10
He's never been the best player at Man Utd and his England career has been built on statpadding against minnows in qualifiers and friendlies.
The fire crackles as the children gasp in awe. Snow begins to fall outside the window the your tale comes to an end, but the youngsters are still thirsty for more. 'Tell us about the two he scored against Andorra again Grandpapa' one child begs. 'No, no! The legendary brace vs Kazakhstan!' implores another. The oldest boy pipes up. 'Be quiet you two, Grandad tells those ones all the time. Go on, tell us the one you promised us last time - the penalty vs Slovenia...Grandad..G-Grandad?'
The rocking chair creaks to a halt. A serene expression is on your face and all of Rooney's goals flash before your eyes in your final moments as the children embrace you. His one World Cup goal, The legendary double in Minsk. That tap in against Liechenstien. they know whats happening and are scared, but calm.
The last thing you hear as you slide into the black warmth of death is the youngest boy - old beyond his years, a football fanatic who spends every free moment outside kicking his battered leather ball against the wall 'Dont be sad, he lived a hell of a life...in the age of Rooney.'
>this oaf robbed my town's claim to fame by ousting Sir Bobby with his legendary goals against Lithuania and San Marino, quite annoying
Alan Shearer
I think his last WC/EC performance have really ruined his international image. Doesn't help that manure is not playing cl.

Heh, you fool; I bet you've never seen the quote compilation of football greats praising Scholes. You'd retract your foolhardy statement the instant you laid you eyes on it, heh. Imbecile...
