The entire global economy is just a gigantic ponzy scheme. ALL money is backed by nothing but debt. At the level of the local bank, all new money is loaned into existence. At the Federal Reserve level, money is simply manufactured out of thin air and then exchanged for interest-paying government debt.

This debt-based money system is always continually growing by some percentage, so it's an exponential system. Ergo, if all money is backed by debt, there will always be more debt than there is money. Perpetual, exponential expansion is a requirement of the economic system we live by. This is the same way cancer operates before it eventually kills its host.

No government is going to change this. Their economic policies all fit within the same exponential model which will eventually collapse under the weight of its own sustainability. The best you can do is hope you're not part of the generation left holding the bag when it does.
