i don't think this is true. a well placed heat round, penetrating the hull in side or even rear armor, will penetrate into the ammunition which is present in a cylinder shaped storage below the turret. the ammuntion stored below the turret, in the hull, is part of the autoloader mechanism.

I know there isn't an invincible tank but look at the past south Aleppo offensive when Hezbollah and the Iranians conquered all that land including Khan Touman and Tal Eiss, it took them almost a month to do a great advance. Also, look at the Latakia offensive, they roll over the """"moderates""" and conquered Salma which was a bastion for the jihadists in just 2 days. Now the SAA can't take Kabani or reconquer Khan Touman even with RuAF support.
