FUT is objectively the worst mode in FIFA

My defenders keep getting beaten by through balls right in the middle, and yet I haven't set my defending on offside trap. That and with the shit player selection, I can't seem to make them follow the attackers runs by myself.
Is there any way to prevent that? Btw I use relatively fast defenders (Yanga Mbiwa, Nkoulou, Perrin, Marquinhos)

I used Hernandez for a while when I first started out. He was really good. Funnily enough he didnt seem that quick, but he scored loads of headers and tap ins. Rocket of a left foot too from distance

i can't be bothered/don't have the time to get 18 wins every weekend so i normally just qualify during the week but i've noticed pretty much every time i've lost it's been to a basic pl team with some tiltmaster at the helm

I switch to 4-1-2-1-2 in game and put Reus at CAM

I use IF Kante in my main squad. I could use the NIF by I'm an autist who doesn't like to use duplicates even though fitness won't be an issue with a NIF.

Lads, I love this team, and this is the only team that has surpassed my Yaya team. But now I've played over 90 games with said CF Yaya team, should I pass the torch to this team and build something new? I only have these 2 teams. I kinda wanna revisit the 3-5-2, my main formation from FIFA 13-16.

Thoughts? TOTY prices are waaay higher than I thought they'd be. I need Messi to hit 3mil to build this which I think is realistic.
