I can definitely hear you started a week ago. the track you got sounds raw, primitive and dilettante. Only good advice here is produce more, and by more i mean a shit-ton more, you need practice in melody and mixing, in sound choice, structure and daw knowledge. Next 50 tracks will probably suck but don't give up, music production is a slow process at first.
ay lads, I sing and rap on this beat i made, but have still troubles with mixing. any tipps?

Not sure what thread to post/comment in. I assume one will be deleted. As I am not sure which one, I will post in both I guess. I will leave some comments for people here:
Love the style of beats, heard your stuff in the other read and was highly impressed.
Really beautiful EP, very relaxing and peaceful.
Heard your beats in the last thread, really great stuff.
Pretty cool, I like the dark bassy beats.

The problem is real and these threads are really ridiculous but the song wasn't necessary and it's also a little cringey
I don't comment on these threads often, but I think you have talent. You still have work to do--- higher quality synthesizers would do wonders. But you are a song writer, no doubt about it.
>soundcloud.com
Really dig this, especially the piano on the third track. Really lovely stuff.
Just checked out a few of your tracks. "Never" is really great. Liked the sample particularly and the drums really popped. Only criticism would be that the mix seemed a little busy to me but I think that was the kind of energy you were going for.
Dig the vocals. The lofi feel is great but I think a few of the elements could have been cleaned up a little bit in the mixing stage. Overall well done though really nice track.

RECS
This is not bad, it's pretty straightforward industrial metal, but I dig the black/death metal element, so, it's something
Hmm, okay, not into techno as I used to be in high-school, but I like the dub element, makes it really relaxing. What I find kinda sad about techno is that a lot of it sounds dated, but this is not really an example of that, but I do encourage you to experiment more.

nice dubs wasted on a l-i-t-t-l-e-s-h-i-l-l
Awww, ain't that cute, he called me a shill.
Awwwwwww.
You just keep posting the same thing again and again. It's two songs. Work on your music, stop posting just to self-promote, and focus on improvement.
I am working on new music, and shit, I don't wanna rush anything, I'd rather have something more presentable than just shit out a beat and try to promote that, if that was the case, I'd put out way more music than I have, and some of it is even removed because I don't like it as much as I did initially.
Who would you rather check out tho, somebody with 40+ tracks of random bullshit or something that has more quality control to it? Do you like fast-food music THAT MUCH? I don't get it. It's not rocket-science, but, again, I take time with the shit I do, I'd rather have my shit promoted as well as I can than just bombard you with random bleeps and blops that I'll loop for 5 minutes. So, having that said, I don't really see the problem.
And for the record, not that I care, but me posting "just to self-promote" is kinda a bullshit thing to say, because it's more than obvious who posts here to self-promote and who posts to actually give some sort of feedback, which I do, I do check out what is posted here, some of it is really good, some of it pretty okay, and some just horrible. But, it is what it is.

>UNDA RAP
>Who would you rather check out tho, somebody with 40+ tracks of random bullshit or something that has more quality control to it? Do you like fast-food music THAT MUCH?
I didn't see a difference between you and the "Fast foodies" here lol
The second part sounds a lot like Autechre's Bine for real
Your music is already fast food music. Fast food shouldn't take inordinate amounts of time to prepare. If that's your best, your best isn't good enough. Instead of shilling, you could be working on your music. At least 40 tracks of bullshit proves someone is trying and spending time working. You want to be a musician? Then start acting like it, have some passion or some professionalism and stop thinking your low effort constitutes something substantial and unique. You have to keep making things. If you don't make things, you're not an artist.
Its insulting to everyone working hard here, good or bad, that you think so highly of your process, which involves procrastination and flippancy. You want to promote two unremarkable songs while posturing like the next thing will be big and more tracks? Please, your wounded ego is showing. "taking time" is an excuse, and if what you have made so far is something that took all that time you claim, you're using that time badly. Music you made can be made in a short period of time: it lacks depth and complexity, it is the definition of fast food music. You are part of the "horrible" now regardless of the quality of your music because of your lazy attitude, and you aren't getting anymore critique here until you make something new and develop yourself. So, yes, it is shitty self-promotion without care for criticism. Here is criticism, coming from people. You will ignore it for your ego's sake.
Everyone knows your shit, you post it so often it's just hilarious how edgy you are being. So serious about being a deep artist, but you don't even make anything to prove how "good" you seem to perceive yourself...

>You have to keep making things. If you don't make things, you're not an artist.
How do you know that I don't make things? Do you live in my closet sir?
>he hasn't updated his soundcloud in over 2 months, he stopped making music
Again, regardless of what you think about my music, quality control is important, so the "he has 40 tracks of bullshit but he's trying" argument doesn't really work, I too have 40+ tracks of bullshit, and guess what, they're not on the soundcloud for a good reason.
People would be thrown off by it, so yeah. Doesn't really work like that.
>Its insulting to everyone working hard here, good or bad, that you think so highly of your process, which involves procrastination and flippancy.
Again, you don't really know my process, I don't really think highly of it, that's just how I work. Never claimed it made me "more superior than others".
>Please, your wounded ego is showing.
Made me cringe, did you practice saying that in front of a mirror?
>Music you made can be made in a short period of time: it lacks depth and complexity, it is the definition of fast food music.
Also made me cringe, the fast-food music part is debatable, but still, cringy argument.
Because, of course, everything needs to be deep and complex!
I never claimed it was "deep" or/and "complex" you dipshit, it means something to me for personal reasons, but should you like it for those reasons too?
Fuck no, that's not what I do, I'm not gonna push my agenda that way, form your own opinion on it, give it whatever meaning you want, I don't ask for you to shine ass, that's stupid, but your argument is also pretty stupid.
>Everyone knows your shit, you post it so often it's just hilarious how edgy you are being. So serious about being a deep artist, but you don't even make anything to prove how "good" you seem to perceive yourself...
I think you take this shit way too seriously bud, I don't claim anything, you must be thinking of someone else, just sayin.

You have defended yourself. You care too much. Your music sucks and you care too much that people think your music sucks.
You are learning to use the software as you create the "music" aren't you? Your shit sucks. It does nothing for anyone.
The most you can hope for in the world of music is to muster as many listens on your SC account as possible from unsuspecting listeners. Because your music will never make a difference in the world for anyone who ever hears it.
