pls be london

Toronto

>the shanty town of Charlotte actually has a professional team of any capacity

Really gets the ol' scalp 'a scratchin'.

Wouldn't that violate some law?

Baton Rouge, Lousiana

Tennessee has a professional football team
Florida has 3
Ohio has 2

Portland, Oregon

L O N D O N
O
N
D
O
N

Chicago

lol fuckin spics dont know shit. baton rouge is a college town there isn't room for an NFL team here

No, it wouldn't directly violate any anti-trust laws or anything like that.

wilmington

London Posh Pussies

they can bring back a defunct franchise and move them to london
the bulldogs actually makes sense

woops

the London Silly Nannies

why would it?

FUCK NO

THE TRAFFIC HERE IS SHIT AS IT IS

This guy gets it, we only care about LSU

it works =(

Jesus...

If your town runs low on white people or minorities take over

You lose your team

They aren't leaving

Florida is the 3rd most populous state
For reference, California has 4 and is the most, Texas has 2 and is 2nd, Florida has 3 and is 3rd, NY has 3 and is 4th

los angeles

>Not understanding irony

I'm fairly sure the CFL made a big fuss when the Bills were almost about to move to Toronto, saying that they wanted to be the only pro football league in Canada. I'm not sure if there was any legal action taken, though.

it's not about population when it comes to franchises
it's about how many people have enough disposable income to afford tickets

Hartford, CT. You take our team, we take yours.

More people would object over the Panthers leaving than the furpuck team, but not many people would care either way

ok thats kind of dumb on the CFL part though

if an NFL team was successful there could be incentive to fold the CFL into the NFL making the owner billions instead of the peanuts they are making in their bush league

There's no way any CFL team could get into the NFL

june - november
18 games
planning a safety is an acceptable strategy over punting

no

Thing is Canadians really like Canadian football, even more than American football.

Friendly reminder that next season the Toronto Wolfpack rugby league team will be playing in the English Rugby League Division 1 whilst being based in Toronto, Canada.

Why would a country with no history of rugby league have a team join a league in a different country six hours away by flight, you ask?

It's being funded as a test subject for any future NFL franchise to move to London.

Face it guys, there WILL be an NFL franchise in London (or Spread to play in multiple cities across Western Europe) soon enough, there's just too much money and exposure for there not be.

That list is flawed as it only considers metro area

Apples and oranges
You know rugby doesn't have the same preparation that football does

Houston fans already don't know when to cheer, and they've had a team on and off for the last forty years
The London games are gonna be a disaster

Implying NFL 'Fans' even 'cheer'

They squeal and stamp and scream like little bitches when defending, stay silent like little bitches when attacking and high five when they score - also like little bitches

And worst of all they need to be 'lead' to cheer by little bitches

You're supposed to be quiet while the home team is on offense. That why the qb can call audibles

I think you're comparing it to something like association football, where there's less of a clear demarcation between when a team is on offense and defense. If anything, a quieter crowd makes it easier for a quarterback to set up plays - quarterbacks ask their own fans to stay quiet so they can lead their offense. The game is about the players on the field, not the wannabes chanting from their "terraces".

NFL is more popular than CFL here. The only places they give a shit about CFL are redneck cities like Saskatoon where it's the only sports team for a thousand miles

new york has 1 team

By that logic Maryland has two

This.

by that logic
at one point Missouri had two too

Austin, Texas could use a team

san antonio is a more realistic option

Jerry will never allow that

Atlanta

Then why the fuck would he allow Austin. IT's closer to Dallas than San Antonio is.

>74 years old
odds of him dying before las vegas raiders becomes a done deal?

The Panthers will never move as long as the Robertson family owns it.

If the Smith family buys it once Jerry croaks, though? I can't attest to the son but God knows Bruton Smith will threaten to move and blow the whole stadium up if Charlotte doesn't give him exactly what he wants. Just like he's done with Charlotte Motor Speedway.

...I don't know, why would he? He wouldn't allow another team in Texas period senpai.

I'm beginning to question if he'll die at all; I've seen convincing evidence that he's preserved indefinitely by daily cocktails of Johnny Walker Blue and virgins' blood

>2 division rivals in the same city
no

Let it happen before. Or at least wasn't able to stop it before.

With LA off the books I just don't see a good place to move the team so I think the panthers will be safe for a while

They tried to ship the Bills to Toronto so I think that's going to be the new place where owners threaten to move.

No it isn't. There are huge legal, tax, currency, and other issues with that.

leicester

There are two Kansas cities fuccboi
It was never implied that the football team is in Kansas

Vancouver, screen cap this

I hear San Diego is short a team now

Why would they move they had 100 percent attendance? Larger metro area teams like New England, both New York teams, and Pittsburgh were all beat by a podunk town in North Carolina. Why move?

Dubs say Mexico City

Move them here before we get one of LA's teams.

Plus we all love Riverboat Ron from when he was our LB coach and Def Coord.

austin

best way to have sellouts

there's no place to put the stadium

What the fuck makes people think Austin, which is smaller and closer to Dallas and Houston (plus has UT football), is a better idea than San Antonio?

San Antonio did great with the Saints games; and they root for UTSA and UIW like crazy
that and Mexican fans and Valley people (fuck it, plus Austin and Corpus) would flock to SA every sunday even to see a winless NFL team

Not to mention the Alamodome could be turned into a solid NFL stadium up to modern standards with only about $200 million put into it.

the raiders would have been great =(

I don't even like the raiders. I would've had season tickets, no fucking question
can't even imagine the barbacoa scene on those sunday morning tailgates

who will be the steve francis 2.0 this time?

Why would Carolina move? They're doing pretty well where they are, aren't they?

NC is all Steeler fans
SC couldn't give less of a fuck about the NFL

>Hartford Whalers

oh look it's fucking nothing

Team's contract with the city of Charlotte runs outbin 2020 and only Jerry Richardson is completely set on them never leaving the Carolinas.Once he goes it's gonna be a free for all for the team.

That's too bad, I felt Carolina was putting together a nice franchise down there. I've got a buddy from NC and he's a die hard Panthers fan.

shit happens I guess

>NY doesn't have enough teams

What did he mean by this?

>as long as the Robertson family
>Robertson family
>Robetson
6/10

>a die hard Panthers fan
Those exist?

Trump would probably be bootybothered about it

>Muh "Keep American Jobs in America!"

bizjournals.com/charlotte/blog/queen_city_agenda/2016/01/keeping-the-carolina-in-carolina-panthers.html

the panthers should be in good shape to stay for a while

What a moron he is for caring about Americans having jobs, amirite?

Mexico City

>BREAKING: Over 11 members of the Mexico City Panthers were found beheaded as their travel bus, headed to AT&T Stadium, was stopped by members of a local drug cartel. Survivors say they overheard the members of the cartel lambasting offensive coordinator Mike Shula for his play calling.

to the other carolina. Don't even have to change the name

I remember in 2006 when the Saints nearly moved to San Antonio. Benson and the mayor of San Antonio were talking. The NFL gave Benson a ton of concessions to stay in NOLA.

Basically what I'm saying is that if San Antonio would take such a piece of shit team as the 2006 Saints, they'll pounce on the Panthers. Jerry doesn't have THAT much influence.

Do you really think it's as easy as it sounds? Tell me, what american would work in a plant that builds phones? What american is going to go and pick apples in the middle of the sun? He seems to overlook these things.

Motorola tried that once, the plant shut down after only 18 Months

The only people that would do those jobs are the ones who >you are trying to deport.

Trust me, it's going to take sometime before anything that Trump says occurs. That is, if it even happens.

Robots took your shitty, unskilled jobs. You hating Mexicans doesn't affect the robot.

They should have been renamed the San Antonio Defenders

1. Oakland
2. Jacksonville
3. Buffalo
4. Cleveland
5. Tampa
6. Nashville
7. Baltimore
8. Minnesota
9. Detroit
9. New Orleans
10. Indianapolis

The Panthers have been a successful team with a loyal fanbase this decade and Charlotte is filled with rich bankers. They're not going anywhere.

1/10

The should be a power gap between 1 and 2 and between 2 and 3. Then after 3 there should be an over9000x power gap.

Loyal to the Steelers
No one actually gives a fuck about the Panthers

Carolina is the only one with their lease expiring soon

>all the salt itt
kek, for a supposed "podunk nowhere scam small market team" you sure get triggered over them easily

especially you faggot, you're in every single thread about football that mentions either the Panthers, Charlotte, or the superior state of North Carolina

Sub Cincinnati for Minnesota and put them at #4 and it looks pretty good

>implying Dem Boyz chokehold won't be cemented for another 25 years when Jewdell gifts them the owl this year

>NC is all stoolers fans
what is this meme and when did it truly start

The guy spouting the Steelers meme has to be in his 40s
