Don't die.

go back in time and don't do it.

BMT is easy if you're not a useless faggot. Just get along well with your flight mates and dont piss off the MTIs and you'll be fine.

ALWAYS leave the water in the sink running when you take a shit! It's the one thing we expect all the newbies to know!

eat a moth

How often do we get to buy shampoo and shit, or is it provided later on

Don't be like Onision, and cry about your military experience despite not actually ever engaging in combat. Be a man/woman, and be glad your in the easiest branch in the military.

He did SERE and bitched about it because he had to walk through a swamp and skin a rabbit. I'm doing air traffic control so it should be chill

Don't wear anything that says air Force going. I seen so many rainbow flights get smoked because one kid would wear an air Force t-shirt. You are not an airman till the day you receive your coin. Do as your told and stay in the back burner. Thing spoke element leader and dorm chief don't mean shit when you leave BMT so no need to make yourself a target. Sniffing the hand sanitizer works great for staying awake. Trust me lol

Don't get any faggety new guy tats. You'll regret that shit son.

Don't forget to pack your panties you fucking faggot.

Real advice from USAF mental health and ADAPT, do NOT use our services (mental health, ADAPT, family advocacy. You'll hear the briefings over and over about how they can help. But they are the fast track out. And not in a good way. Other than that basic and tech school means nothing when you're permanent party so the real time putting forth effort matters is when you get to your first duty station. And to the dipshit who called it the easiest branch, any firsthand knowledge in the AF. Probably not.

How did you get a medical job? Every time the job draft came, all medical positions are immediately taken up, and I tried to get into EMS

Lol yeah fuck mental health. Worst decision I ever made talking to them. Drs recommendation was a fuck ton of anti depressants and a girlfriend.... I got out because of that fuckery

Report and make sure anything you get related to an injury gets documented. This was the first thing my grandpa told my brother when he went in.

My brother was in a vehicle that had a rollover in Iraq when they were driving around in a city in a convoy with no map and no batteries for their nightvision. Got seizures probably from that after he got out of the service. The VA didn't want to pay for any of the medical stuff related to his seizures because he didn't formally report the accident.

Most people spend their bonus on a vehicle. Don't do that (if you guys even get signing bonuses any more -- my brother got over 20k but this was when America had an economy before a generation of deregulation and "conservative" government stripped out any assets of value and sold them so their buddies running the auction houses could keep 10% of the action). Get an account with a low fee brokerage like Schwab and put it all in an index fund.

The biggest problem with the military is that you're in there with the dregs of society, it's one step up from the people that would be in with you in prison. Remember that when you're out with them socially -- a lot of these people are barely functional humans and will do absolutely retarded shit that can ruin your life. The AF is better for this than the other services but not much.

Obviously he can do more pushups than you

I got medical going open general with a high asvab score. I did some time in internal medicine too along with 2 rotations of base honor guard. But medical is easy to get. Being a patient in mental health though works out if you have the rank to back it. Junior enlisted it seems get punted right off the bat. If you do need counseling services become friends with someone in mental health so you can be seen off base due to conflict of interest

Did you serve?

Same mental health guy. We didn't have EMS. We had 4N0X1 nurse techs who went all around the hospital.

Brother served, grandpa served. I also spent like 30+ hours a week doing martial arts through highschool with a ton of people that served. Everyone told me not to so I listened.

Play "Highway to the Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins when you're in the air

That's a lot of "helpful tips" from someone not service related. And yes, the other branches do enlist some not so great people. But not the AF. So leave the thread and as an American do NOT insult the most powerful branch of any military of all time.

Grow some balls Join the Army and 11b all the way you pogs

If you have any questions when you get to tech school hit me up. I'll tell it straight. [email protected].
Get ready for the best time of your life Airman

You got parkinsons? take a decent pic of those challenge coins boi.

I hope you trained before going into BMT otherwise you are going to die FAGGOT

I've had this same phone for years and I won't upgrade until it finally kicks. Would be nice if it had a decent camera though. Best I've got was from a suicide watch on a psychotic episode with the girl hitting us with anything she could grab and the Commander of our medical group (81st) coined us.

Crash your plane against the pentagon.

I made an attempt. That's all I could find off the bat

No revenge porn

Don't get snackbarred

like every fucking weekend

>yfw God Emperor Trump sells off ATC to the lowest bidder

Talk back to your commanding officer. Don't let that loud bastard push you around and put him in his place.

>fuck ton of anti depressants
>and a girlfriend
>that fuckery
kek

What ever you do, don't be a fucking aircraft mechanic, even on the easiest aircraft (mq-9) it fucking sucks.
-someone who is a mechanic on said aircraft.

Parkinson's is not a service related injury that VA would recognize.
So, no.

dont be the pussy that cries the first night
dont put suggestions in the suggestion boxes
wash your feet, aint nobody wanna smell that shit
dont be a fucking idiot, like half my flight, and fold your corners inside out. youll know what i mean.

They don't pay you extra for cheerleading

which base is you bmt at

Hey man thank you for the help and info, I'll make sure to contact you if I need help again

Lackland

>as an american
>do not insult the chair force

Did you train?

Of course, it would be stupid not to lol

If you manage to not die a horrible death make a new thread when you get back.

Lackland was pretty nice. The BX's are pretty good. there was a super fat fuck a few weeks behind me who still hung on until at least i graduated. dont sweat it too much.

San Antonio is also a cool place to visit when you get leave for family/friends right before you graduate

Don't get married and don't buy any cars within the first 10 miles of the front gate of any base.

Remember, Chuck Norris was in the air force, and look how he turned out... Then again, your probably better off brushing up on your cock sucking abilities.

theres also a popeyes if thats your shit

My cousin is in ATC up in S. Dakota. Pretty good gig, paid out the ass and doesn't do any of that "military" shit.

Matter of fact, OP, sock away as much money as fucking possible. Don't buy a car at all. You won't need it. Buy a bicycle. Buy some clippers and crop your hair instead of going to a barber. Live as frugally as you can your whole enlistment, stack that cash, and thank yourself later when you're suddenly a civilian paying for your own housing.

You fucking cuck. I have a history of depression and would literally fucking cut your throat if I thought it would get me a waiver.

>better off brushing up on your cock sucking abilities.
This

Was ATC tech school difficult, if you know?

That wont help your mental state at all. The only solution is to eat a bunch of female hormones and let men pound your ass. That'll fix it

T H E S E B I S C U I T S

Lackland is awesome, relax

This shit, man. Tachycardia diagnosis at 19. I would rape your mother to get into the army. The reserve even. As a petroleum supply specialist.

I dunno never asked him about the training. He's a college dropout, smart but no einstein, bit of a lazy goodtimer. Im sure youll be fine.

Keep your mouth shut head down and get dayroom duties
