Chart thread

There's no chart thread up at this hour of the night, and that is just unacceptable. You know the drill anons.

>post chart
>rate/rec/guess personalities
>no "tryhard faggot" etc.

Hope all of you are having a good night so far.

Is this suppose to be ironic?

If you like death in june und neofolk in general your instantly my friend 10/10

...

oranssi pazuzu-värähtelijä based on sunbather

...

need reccs

I actually saw ho99o9 last month at Beat Kitchen, they're amazing live. also thanks for the other rec, I'll give it a listen.

I know what you mean, and no, it isn't supposed to be ironic. Douglas courts a lot of controversy with everything, not really a fan of all the Nazis that his music attracts, but I don't think he's a neo-nazi himself. If he was, being in the limelight so much would be kind of counterproductive to flying under the radar, which is what a lot of neo-nazis want to do in the first place.

I also have Feindflug on the list, and they've been accused much the same way of Douglas of being neo-nazis in a lot of ways. Still like Volk Und Armee (especially TSFKS).

Hello new friend, hope your night is well

...

Sleep's Holy Mountain- Sleep

Oh cool, I've heard lots of great stuff about their live shows, really sad that they probably won't come to the south to play some day. But who knows, if they ever are near DC, I might drive up to see them.

Here's some abrasive punk/thrash, seems like you might like it because +Black Flag.

youtube.com/watch?v=NJQksyRNqSo

Same to you, here's some aggressive punkish stuff

youtube.com/watch?v=NJQksyRNqSo

For post-rock sound:

If These Trees Could Talk - Red Forest, Above the Earth, Below the Sky

youtube.com/watch?v=ex2OZTTNeeM

This Will Destroy You - Another Language, Young Mountain

youtube.com/watch?v=nP0Zga8Vldc

sleepmakeswaves - Love of Cartography

+Johnny Hobo, Pat the Bunny is a pretty cool guy.

Not sure what I could rec, you've probably run the gamut on anarcho-folk music and the like, but if you haven't listened to Ramshackle Glory yet, "Live the Dream" is a pretty touching album for me because of when I found it in life.

youtube.com/watch?v=z6rp8-MlW1g

Yeah yours too man!

>Fascist imagery without political connotation attached is a fucking LIT aesthetic

Yeah and besides even if he was a neo nazi, that juxtaposed by the fact that hes gay and is on the record with working with orthodox jews in his music.

Yo thanks for the Rec Man!

Talking heads, David bowie
Grouper
If you like Animals, check out Close to the Edge by Yes, and Can

Fresh new chart coming in. Pretty much the same as my last one anyway, but with more Milo. Recs are appreciated as always.
I think its about time I gave atrocity exhibition a shot. Dunno what to rec you, so just check out Clever Girl - No Drum and Bass in the Jazz Room.
Love the color alignment for covers. Not sure what to rec. SALES is the only thing that comes to mind, not sure if I have already said that though.

...

This Town Needs Guns - Animals
Swans - White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity
Jefre Castu-Ledesma - In Summer, or his song "A Song from Summer"

No problem, if you're the guy I gave the livefastdie rec too, sorry that I couldn't offer more lol, I lost most of my punk collection after my hard drive got wiped a few years ago, and I kind of drifted away from it since then. Here's another in case you like something a bit less aggressive:

youtube.com/watch?v=Nk6fL-Io1HA

Digital Leather is also pretty cool, you should check out the album this is from

youtube.com/watch?v=ddPiIFH4mN4

So is Sleaford Mods, but I think a lot of Sup Forums has already heard them

youtube.com/watch?v=cXvjNBJMPU8

No worries, if I was a spice, I'd be flour, and my chart is pretty vanilla as well.
+Wild Nothing, Japanese Breakfast, AJJ

For folk punk, you should check out Ghost Mice if you haven't already, "Death and Hatred to Mankind" is my newest favorite.

Thrushes - "Sun Come Undone"
Static Daydream - "Static Daydream"
Beach Fossils - "What a Pleasure" (probably already heard)
Ringo Death Starr - "Color Trip"

youtube.com/watch?v=7Rihk7_2BVw

You'd probably really like Cigarettes after Sex as well, they have recently put out a really good album, but they also have a lot of singles like this out there:

youtube.com/watch?v=5soixb2U6xM

youtube.com/watch?v=yD7eEikpbho

Future recs might be a bit slower from me unfortunately, I should be studying for the test I have in 12 hours but will dip back in occasionally to make sure thread hasn't become kil

nickleback because xD and I didn't have 10 more albums I listened all the way through

also ty for reccomendations

stop posting this

what's wrong with posting my chart in a chart thread

Are you a girl?

Haha no. Girls don't listen to music outside of Top 40.

Okay, just checking.

Even at 1 album per band, this list is a pain in the ass. It's kind of wasted on Sup Forums due to the general anti-punk attitude, but at least it gives me an opportunity to revisit old albums.

Sup Forums's not really anti-punk, they circlejerk over shit music all the time

Not anti-punk per se, but generally anything that isn't Fugazi, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Flipper, Operation Ivy, etc. aren't really talked about except for the occasional punk thread.

That's not even taking into consideration the shit you get for talking about 'SJW' bands like Downtown Boys or War on Women because everyone here is so god damn desperate to protect western civilization from the evil cultural marxists or whatever.

>anti-punk attitude
???

Also why Insomniac over a better Green Day album?

its not yours

I prefer Insomniac over Dookie because it's similar in a lot of ways with a more aggressive punk edge to it. Dookie sounds like plastic. I do love Kerplunk and 1039 though and they were both close behind Insomniac.

Howdy, y'all

Damn dude I love you. Thanks for the recs and good luck with your test.

i post it in every thread, how is it not mine?

because being marginally better than shit is still shit. in that situation, it's best if i choose the contrarian option so i appear more patrician

y u do dis

Nice try.

Seriously, though. What's your issue?

not sure what you mean

someone recccc me

i recommend you to drone my chart

Mount Eerie - Wind's Poem, No Flashlight
Dirty Beaches - Stateless
Slow Walkers - Slow Walkers
SHXCXCHCXSH - Linear S Decoded
Clarence Clarity - No Now

If you like these, check out the rest of their albums:

youtube.com/watch?v=b80DqcFLI-c
youtube.com/watch?v=l72fymbkmCY
youtube.com/watch?v=J9-aVDsM3SA

GNOD - Say No to the Fascist Capitalist Right Wing War Machine
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92
Emperor X - Oversleepers International
Sun Drug - Sun Drug
clipping - midcity, CLPPNG

Can't offer much more in the way of recs at the moment, but very nice chart friend.

+FIDLAR, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Flying Lotus

Don't really have a lot of punk recs unfortunately, but here are some stuff that I rec'd earlier.

youtube.com/watch?v=NJQksyRNqSo
youtube.com/watch?v=JMEiWbmM77c

Thanks user

>Please provide recs and critiques for people, rather than "stop posting", "get some taste", etc, doesn't do the thread as a whole a lot of good in the long run.

Damn fine taste. You should check out Candi Staton

Oh. I was unaware.

Why the hell would someone steal someone else's chart?

Can anybody give me recs?

it is my chart though
he stopped posting it so i took ownership of it

I recommend you reset your taste in music

Why did you take ownership of it though, instead of making your chart?

for the same reason people adopt children

... but its a chart? I'm not seeing why you would do this instead of making your own.
